Chapter 30 [Resentment]

Tyler floated for a moment, long enough people noticed something was different, "Ty!"

Tyler flew down as Ty's body slammed into yet another bridge. Everything was going to shit for poor Adam.

"You're coming with me," Seto grabbed Adam's arm and pulled him down into the ravine. Adam didn't scream as they flew down to the bottom of the ravine into Seto's area where Ty's body lay with fast pooling purple blood appeared. Tyler arrived at the ground the same time.

"You aren't supposed to use Permissions so openly Tyler--"

"What the fuck Seto!" Tyler kneeled by Ty's body, he checked for breathing, checked for a pulse, did everything to determine if Ty was still alive.

"Don't yell, I only did what I had to," Seto let go of Adam who stood in silence and in horror.

"Explain what the hell ha--"

Tyler was interrupted by Ty's voice, "The prince, wh...where is he?"

Seto growled, "Still alive, let me fix th--"

"Don't you dare, he's going straight to the infirmary and then I want an explanation about what happened. Leave nothing out, and until my say so you are not to act out line and don't even think about using magic to hurt or harm Ty," Tyler stood and stared down Seto, "Do I make myself clear?"

Adam had never seen such a stern side to Tyler before, it almost frightened him, but he noticed the tremble in Tyler's hands.

"Are you trying to order me around?"

"As acting leader here, yes I am. We both know that I hold a higher rank here in the AHD."

"I'm a Council Member--"

"For the king, not here you aren't," Tyler turned away Ty was mumbling but his movements were growing weaker, "help me take him to the surface."

Tyler looked to see Seto walking away into the darkness. Adam didn't know what to do, "Damn that jerk."

Tyler looked to Adam, "Adam grab Ty's legs, be gentle, we don't want to injure him further."

"But Tyler...Ty is a...he uh...he--"

"That was an order," Tyler said sternly.

Adam nodded, he was wary of Ty as he picked up his feet while Tyler supported his back and head. Adam heard Tyler say "Command Fly Adam Azure and Ty Lox and Tyler Brotato."

Adam felt himself seemingly grow lighter, "Follow me," Tyler flew up and Adam felt himself being dragged along. Adam was stunned for words as they arrived at the surface. The crowd still remained.

"I need a doctor here immediately," Tyler shouted but when no one moved he said, "Did you not hear? I said immediately! Also make room in the infirmary, or get back to work!"

The crowd dispersed hurriedly. Adam helped carry Ty to the infirmary with Tyler.

"Adam, tell me what the hell happened, why is Ty like this?"

Adam gulped, "H-he's an Ender, sir."

"An Ender?" Tyler looked back at Adam like he was crazy.

"And...he killed Jason. I saw it and I couldn't stop him..." Adam looked away in guilt. Tyler remained silent as they carried Ty. Within the infirmary Tyler guided them to cot prepared for Ty. They set him down and some nurses came to take over the situation. Tyler watched from the side.
