Honestly, I'm gonna post GO chapters as I finish them since I can no longer guarentee an update schedule I don't want to make promises that will be difficult to keep. So whenever I finish a chapter and if it isn't like 2am I'll post it.

Chapter 41 [Friends]

"Sorry...sorry for being so ungrateful of your kindness."

"It wasn't kindness," Seto waved off Jason's remark as he continued working at his enchanting table. It had been a few hours since he left Jason to that side room. He suppose it was nearly morning now and Jason had sufficient rest from the previous night.

"Still...I can't go back, but I won't let myself make the same mistake. Even if it kills me, I won't let Stars control me, I'm going to stop him."

"Ok." Seto didn't look up.

"And I'm going to find a way to break your curse," Seto looked up.

"That isn't necessary. I function fine without emotions, so I don't need them returned."

"Maybe so, but one day, you'll realize the disadvantage you're at. My hypothesis is that you no longer know how to recognize or express your feelings, but they are actually still present inside you--in fact, I imagine it will cause you lots of problems in the future when you act based on emotions, but don't even realize it. The discrepancies in logic will surely make you short circuit."

"I'm not one of your machines."

"But you act like one, I thought the joke was fitting," Jason smiled.

Seto paused. For a man that could not express feeling, it was altogether possible that Jason's hypothesis that Seto did still possess feeling was true and that those feelings manifested in other ways, even if Seto could not recognize them.

Seto lowered his arm and the diamond sword in his hand pulsed lightly with his magic. The light around him dimmed and he found himself in the town of Sooul, the town nearest to the border of Rekrium.

For a brief moment, his head was clear; though his head was still plagued by Jason and the memories would not stop flowing through him, there was a brief moment of tranquility. The town before him helf no fear and no war. It was void of any Enders.

But that brief peace passed as something around his legs tightened.

"Stop this," Seto looked down to see Adam's arms wrapped tightly around Seto's legs. "I can't let you do this, I can't let you."

Despicable.

"Get off me."

"Get off me," Seto scowled.

Jason pouted, "It's normal for friends to hug."

"We aren't friends," Seto pushed Jason off him.

Jason smiled, "Course we are, but I'll let you believe we aren't."

"Hmph."

"Hey Seto, random question, do you miss your family?"

Seto looked at Jason, he scanned his face wondering why he would ask such a question.

"No. People die all the time, I choose to not let it bother me, and beside I don't really feel."
