I saw the light.

I had always thought that when I would see it I would be terrified.

It was the opposite, its brimming light was so tempting to touch, it was calling me to reach for it.

Then I saw my own hands trying to reach for it. I was almost close but then it faded and I got thrown in a dark abyss, forever falling down in darkness.

Then what felt like a minute I landed somewhere that my feet touched the land. I roamed around my surrondings, it was isolated. There were no persons nor buildings. It wasn't scary, it was peaceful and pleasant-- as if I was accustomed to the silence and isolation.

Then out of nowhere Marco popped in front of me, he was smiling in front of me. He looked surreal and I cupped his face to see if it's really him, I was surprised I could touch his smooth cheeks.

Then he says these words that make me swoon. "Come with me, to a place where there's silence, no more pain and worries," he extended his hand, waiting for me to accept it, to guide me to our haven.

I reluctantly decided to grasp on his hand but when I reached for his hand, he perished like ashes.

I heard crying and shouting above me. I glanced at the moving skies and pointed my finger up there.

Then the light came flashing and I squinted my eyes.

When I flickered my eyes, I began to panic and became hysterical.

The place was so foreign to me. I look over my side and found two middle aged people crushing me in a hug.

Who are they?

Where am I?

I wanted to scream, to burst in tears. In that time I was nameless, lost and I had no idea who am I or what my purpose was.

"Star!" the woman cried. She looked so tired but then she beamed so wide for me.

"Who's M-Marco?" I squeaked so weakly. I looked at their faces and they scrunched in confusion.

I didn't know who Marco was as well, but my heart and mind was telling me to remember that he was someone so important but I was so clueless. The only thing I know about myself was Marco.

Marco, as if he was the one who'll complete me. Why was that name so important when I can't even remember my name?

When they didn't respond I asked another one. "What happened to me?"

The woman placed her hand on my palm. "You got into an accident, you were in a comma for two weeks and suffer from a temporary amnesia."

"A-are you my parents?" I wheezed out.

"Yes."

Everything was unfamiliar. I was pissed at myself because I couldn't remember anything, not even one bit.

I wanted to make my parents at ease but I can't do anything. I was beyond helpless at this point.

I've tried forcing my head to remember everything so that I can fix this and make everything back to normal.

Especially to the guy named Marco.

Maybe he is the key to make  me remember. He might be so important to me that I need to try and remember.
