It has been a week since the incident happened. I never brought it up and we tried to act like everything was normal.

I tried to not let my sadness ruin my family because from the truth that was hidden from me. I mean what could I do? If her parents despised me then I can't do anything.

"Marco, what's wrong?" Elise asked once she sat beside me, her eyes were hinting concern as her forehead scrunched.

"I found out," I mumbled slowly, trying to not let my voice falter.

"About what?"

"The truth that was hidden from me."

"I found out that Star's still alive," tears started to clog my throat but I swallowed them.

Her eyes widened in suprise. "R-really?!"

"Where is she now?" she asks a little too giddy.

I gave her a weak smile. "That's the thing. I can't meet her."

I felt a tad better since Elise invited me to dinner with her husband, Nate.

I felt a pang of envy seeing them so happy, the way they spoke and look towards each other were filled with so much compassion and happiness for eternity.

I tried to ignore Star but I couldn't, it was only her that reminded me everytime I saw people so happy and in love. We could've had a happy ending but because of me she had to leave and her parents despised me.

She may be alive but I can't have her.

I marched towards our backyard and laid down on the cold grass, the cold breeze brushed against my skin while the night grew much darker. The moon shone and the stars twinkled ever so brightly.

I closed my eyes and enjoy the feeling of nature, the memories of us flashing through my mind like a movie. A smile crept on my lips the moments we met and we almost kissed.

"Why so lonely?" a voice came from behind me.

A shiver went up from my spine. I flutter my eyes open and it was bending it's knees that it's face was almost close to mine. Tears began to trickle and I was so anxious that I became lost for words.

A smile etched on it's face and it's hair glistened under the night, like the colour of the sun by a hot afternoon.

"S-star," I whisper inaudibly.

She winked. "Correct. Miss me wimp?"

But before I could answer, I felt her lips pressed on mine as both of us kissed with feelings of longing and joy that another chapter was about to begin.

It didn't matter what would happen, as long as I have her, I will go to full extents.

And I was thankful for the journal that said
