Forever Charmed (Part 1/3)

Chapter 24

"Wyatt how could you let that happen?!" I heard Piper shout from down the stairs.

Chris and I came down and saw that Piper, Leo, Coop, Phoebe, Henry and Paige had come home. Wyatt was standing in front of his mother looking down at his feet.

"And you! Where were you when this happened? On some date?!" Piper shouted up at Chris.

He seemed taken aback at her comment and took his place by his brother.

"Mom I-"

"I don't want to hear any excuses Chris! You are one of the oldest in this family and I trust that you can keep everyone safe." Piper scolded cutting him off.

Considering I was the one that got taken tonight, Piper seemed more interested in scolding her children.

"Now I want you both to orb over to wherever they are and bring their asses back here." Piper ordered.

Wait. She wasn't shouting about my kidnapping? My possession? Had Wyatt even told them?

"Piper honey I think you need to calm down." Penny senior added joining in the conversation.

"No Grams I will not calm down. What happens when me and Leo finally move on and I have to leave this place to them? Especially with bounty hunter demons after a charge?" Piper ranted.

Wyatt, Chris, Penny senior, my parents and myself exchanged wary looks. Piper was looking at us confused.

"Wait, did something else happen while we were gone? Damn it Wyatt I'm going to kill you!" Piper frustratedly shouted at her son.

"Ah now dear I'll explain all that happened while they go look for the kids." Penny said leading Piper away from everyone.

Leo followed them both. Phoebe walked up to all three of us.

"Get my kids back here now." She sternly ordered.

Coop looked between us three with conspicuous looks. Then he started to grin.

"What are you smiling at?" Phoebe questioned.

Coop shook his head. Before turning away he looked at me and edged his gaze towards Wyatt. When I looked over at Wyatt, then back at Coop he winked at me.

What the hell was that?

Phoebe then walked up to me. She took my hands in hers.

"Are you okay?" She asked me.

I nodded to answer her question.

"Don't worry, you won't be the damsel in distress for long. Especially in this family. Just keep your eyes open." She quietly told me.

I was so confused. What is it with this family? They seem to know stuff about you before you even do yourself.

Keep my eyes open. What does that mean?

I walked down the steps and just went to my parents. I opened my arms and just held them. I wanted to stay like that forever. In my parents arms. Where I belonged.

Within a few seconds Wyatt and Chris had brought back Patty, Penny, Pandora and Henry Jr.

Patty and Penny had faces like thunder and Pandora was absolutely wasted. Phoebe and Coop were horrified and were quietly scolding their children. Henry did the same with Penny and Henry.Jr.

Piper, Leo and Grams Penny came from the living room.

"Okay kids time to say goodbye to Grams." Piper announced.

They started to hug Penny senior.

"Why are they saying goodbye?" I asked Payton who had come to my side.

"It's time for Grams to go back to the other side. The spell is almost up." She answered.

My eyes darted straight towards my parents. When I finally found them they were standing side by side smiling at me.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

"No. No. I'm not loosing you again! There must be a way to give me more time!" I stuttered running towards them.

"Sweetie we can't stay here. It's not our time anymore. It's not the natural balance if we stay forever. We have to go back." My mother told me removing hair from my cheek.

I kept shaking my head as tears fell.

"You can always bring us back whenever you want." My dad added.

I fell into them and cried. I cried like I had for the past two weeks. They pulled away from me.

I didn't want to let go. My mother kissed my forehead and my dad hugged me tight.

"We love you Anna." My dad told me.

They walked over by Penny hand in hand. My feet and head were telling me to follow them and not let them go. But my heart was telling me that it was time to let go. Time to live my life now.

Years streamed down my face. I felt someone come by my side and take my hand. I looked up and it was Wyatt. I leaned into him as I cried. His arm wrapped around me.

The clock struck midnight. Twelve chimes. Each echoing in my ear. I took one last look at my parents as they whispered they loved me.

Glowing white circles surrounded them.

10th chime.

They became transparent.

11th chime.

My tears fell uncontrollably.

They disappeared into thin air.

12th chime.

After the twelfth chime had rung and the silence followed, all you could hear was the silent weeping of my cries..
