When I woke up the next morning my eyes were puffy and red. I had been crying for most of the night. I had no bleeding noses or sickness. For once. Even though I missed my parents like hell, I wasn't really upset any more. After seeing them and having everything explained it had been like a weight lifted off of my chest. It was strange.

I made the bed - which was clean - and headed downstairs. Chris's shirt was a little wet from my tears around the collar but I suppose the washing machine will clean it.

The house seemed quiet and from what I've experienced that was a rare thing. It was only Leo, Piper, Wyatt, Chris, Melinda and myself in the house. It was a Thursday and the morning sun shone through the manor. It was warm today but with a little breeze.

I walked into the kitchen and found Piper at the stove, Leo reading the paper and Wyatt and Melinda eating breakfast. No Chris. Everyone looked up when I walked in. Wyatt smiled happily and I smiled back.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Piper asked looking over her shoulder.

"Fine. Strangely." I admitted taking a seat next to Wyatt.

"Are you ready for some breakfast?" She asked taking out a plate.

I looked at Wyatt and he was still smiling at me.

"Sure. Why not? What's cooking?" I answered putting my hands between my legs.

"Everything." Melinda quietly said to me and Wyatt and Leo started to chuckle.

--------------------------------------------

Piper had put two waffles and a pancake on my plate. I was still underweight so I needed as much food as I could swallow. Melinda has told me to put syrup and slice of bacon in my pancakes. I did so and ate the concoction. It wasn't really that bad of a taste.

Wyatt put fruit on my waffles and told me to try some. When I did it was like a sugary, fruit burst in my mouth. It was better tasting than the pancake I can tell you that now.

Wyatt and I were talking and messing about in the kitchen while Melinda went upstairs to go to get ready for school. We both were poking each other with Piper's cooking tools. I had a ladle while he jabbed me with a spatula. He caught me on the side and my reflexes made me squeal like a pig.

He of course burst out laughing. I went to go and thrust at him with my ladle when Chris walked in. We both stopped and the laughter died. I smiled at Chris. He looked at me and stiffened.

"Uh Wyatt where's dad?" He asked ignoring me.

My eyes trailed downwards feeling a little neglected. Wyatt felt the tension and put down the spatula.

"He's in magic school." Wyatt answered.

When Chris got his answer he looked at me. He hesitated to say something but then left the kitchen.

I stood there with my head low, twirling my foot. I heard Wyatt sigh. I looked up and he shrugged his shoulders.

"So what are you going to do today? I mean besides getting kidnapped by a warlock and possessed by his evil lovers spirit of course." Wyatt asked.

I slapped him playfully and cracked a smile.

"I'm going to go get my things from my friends house. I don't know what I'm going to do with my things though." I admitted glumly.

"Well..." Wyatt began.

I looked at him curiously. This isn't going to be good...

"Well what?" I asked.

I folded my arms and cocked my head up to listen.

"My parents and I have talked about you living here with us. Until you get sorted and everything." He told me.

I leaned against the counter to steady myself. No oxygen was going into my lungs.

Did he really just say that I was going to be living here?!

"Wha-when-how?" I stuttered completely in shock.

"Anna it's okay. Everyone here likes you. My mom is totally fine with it." Wyatt assured me and he put his hands on my shoulders.

I nodded. I started to breathe again.

"Sorry. It was just a little bit of a shock that's all." I confessed.

"Go get changed then. I'll help with your stuff." Wyatt offered.

I smiled in appreciation and then Wyatt and me headed out of the door.

CHRIS'S POV

I orbed to magic school. My dad would probably be in the library. I knew my way from the time I came here to save Wyatt from Gideon.

I walked into the library and found my dad checking books. He's such a dork. I walked over to him. He turned around with a surprised look on his face.

"Chris what are you doing here?" He asked putting down a book.

"I came to ask why your letting Anna move in. You've never done it with anyone else." I tried to ask as nicely as possible.

It probably sounded the opposite.

"She's different Chris. Besides it was your mothers idea so ask her." He tried to dodge the real question.

"How is she different? She's a witch? We've helped witches before but we never asked them to live with us." I protested.

My dad sighed. He wasn't telling me something. I knew he wanted to, but I'm sure my mom has told him not to.

"Son, please don't be like this. You will understand in time." He philosophically said and put a hand on my shoulder.

I wasn't going to get any answers from him. I sighed in defeat. If he wasn't going to tell me I know who would. I turned around and left the library to go find Pandora.
