Forever Charmed (Part 1/3)

Chapter 27

We pulled up outside of a club called P3. I laughed at its name, getting the whole joke. Wyatt told me to go with him so I could check the place out. So we filed out of the car. Unfortunately Chris came with us too.

We walked into the bar and headed down some steps. There were posters all over the walls, collected close together. Then we came down to the bar. The chairs were up on the bar counter and a few guys were sweeping. There were people playing around with speakers by the stage. Then in the midst of it all, was Piper.

We walked up towards her.

"Excuse me a minute, check the place out." Wyatt told me then walked to his mother.

I looked around as Wyatt talked to Piper. I smiled at the guys fiddling with the speakers and they smiled back. I read some of the posters on the walls too.

As I was reading I felt a someone behind me. I turned my head to the side and saw it was Chris. I turned my head back. For some reason, my heart was beating quicker and my throat went dry. Every damn time he's two inches away from me I start to get all clammy. I'm sure he fed off of my clamminess.

"Anna, I know your probably mad at me. I would be too." He breathed on my neck.

Luckily my hair was blanketed over my skin so he couldn't pull any tricks.

"No Chris I'm not mad at you. I'm confused. You hate me one minute, then you don't the next, then you save me from being possessed and then you ignore me?" I ranted turning around to face him.

He took a step back and looked away from me as I spoke. His eyes seemed greener today. They were so green..

"I just need to-"

"Hey guys! Come on we can go now!" Wyatt called completely interrupting Chris.

Chris huffed in frustration and looked at his brother. I didn't want to be in this situation right now so I slipped past Chris and walked over to Wyatt and Piper.

Piper smiled when she saw me.

"Are you sure your okay with me moving in to your house? You did meet me a couple of days ago." I said to her.

She took my hands in hers.

"Listen, I can see that you are unhappy with your life right now and I want to help. It's not bother at all. Your part of the family now." She comforted me with a smile.

She then pulled me Into a quick hug. I embraced it, not having had a motherly hug in a while. Last night technically...

I waved goodbye to Piper and then Wyatt, myself and Chris headed back up to the car.

A short while after we left P3 we pulled up in front of Ed's house. My stomach was doing gymnastics inside me. I suddenly didn't want to go in. I didn't want to face his mother. Unless she hasn't died of heart failure yet considering I've been gone for almost four days. My hands had started to shake.

"Anna are sure you want to do this now?" Wyatt asked.

His eyes were worried and unsure. I took one look at the house and nodded firmly. If I didn't do it now, I would have to do it tomorrow, or the day after that.

I unbuckled my belt and got out of the car. The door made a loud noise when it shut. Then quickly after that the blinds of the living room window parted. A face peered through them. It was Ed's mother.

Immediately the door was yanked open. Ed's mother came flying down the steps. She looked terrible. She had dark circles under her eyes and her blonde hair was flying everywhere. She was in her late forties and there were hints of grey hair all over her head. She always dies her hair. I guess she hasn't this time. She was wearing her fluffy nightgown and slippers.

When she saw me her face lit up. Her blue eyes were almost popping out of her head. As soon as she was within a meter from me, she launched herself on me. She hugged me tight.

"Where the hell have you been?!" She screeched in my ears.

I didn't really know what to say. Everyone in the manor had told me that humans are not, on any circumstances allowed to know about magic. So I decided to comfort her.

"It's okay Mel. I'm fine. Just calm down." I soothed back.

"I promised to keep you safe and I haven't known where you were for three days." She cried into my shoulder.

Before I lost all connection from oxygen she let go. She cupped my face in her hands and checked me for any bruises. Which would be a few...

Then from behind a figure emerged. Mel stood out of the way so I could see who it was. His hair had grown and was pushed up. He had a little stubble and was wearing his Guns 'N' Roses T shirt.

I smiled as he stood there staring at me. He seemed to be checking if I was actually there and if it was actually me.

"Dude say something." I laughed at myself.

Then he ran down the steps and picked me up in a hug. He had gotten bigger and stronger. Or I had just gotten smaller and weaker.

He held me tight and buried his head in my boney shoulder.

"Ed, I can't breathe." I squealed and then he let go.

"I can't believe it's you. Your so...skinny." He analysed me.

Cheers bud.

"Anna why are you here with two guys?" Mel asked suspiciously.

I turned around and saw Wyatt and Chris standing behind me. I turned back to Ed and Mel.

"We need to talk."
