"(Y/N)! (Y/N), wake up!" I wake up to hear Tony franticly patting my cheek.

"Tony?" I try to get up but I'm welcomed with sharp pain from my ribs.

"Stay down. There was an explosion in the other room which sent us flying. I'll stay here with you so I can make sure you're safe." Tony tells me as he's kneeling down on my left with both hands cupping my left hand.

"No. Go help to the others." I look around to see about 10 injured men and women. "They need you. I'm sure you have some kind of portable Iron Man suit to wear. Use it to get the others to safety. Please?" I look Tony straight in the eye.

"I can't leave you..." Tony rests his head on my hand.

"Please." I ask him. I know he doesn't see me as anything more than a friend, but this makes me wonder. What if he does. He doesn't want to leave me. I'm just overthinking this.

"Alright, but you're the first I'm saving." Tony reassures me.

"Alright." I giggle at his remark, but I shouldn't do that. Giggling hurts... Owwwwww.

Tony rushes into the bathroom to suit up. Moments later he comes running out.

"Everyone stay calm. I'll get you all out of here."

Like he said, he comes over to me first. He shoots a beam through the window to break it. I imagine he'll fly us all down through there. He runs over to me and picks me up bridle style. Something about this makes me blush. I don't know what, it just does. Matter of fact, I was right. He flew me right out the window and down the two stories onto the ground. He laid me down against a wall, similar to how I was laying upstairs.

"I'll be back shortly. Promise." Tony flips up his mask to look me in the eye.

"Alright Tony. I'll hold you against that promise." I giggle again while doing the eye thing. I keep getting lost in his stupid eyes! Why am I like this. This is wrong. He's my friend, nothing more.

He flies off very quickly back into the building. There were only about 10 people in there with us so it won't take that long. He first brought out a lady. He sat her down next to me.

"This is (Y/N). She is my best friend and means a lot to me. Keep her safe." Right as he is finished the remark, he flies back off to retrieve the remaining people. But, I was right. I'm just his best friend. Nothing more.

"Hi. My name is Ky." Ky extends her hand so I shake it.

"Hi. I'm (Y/N), but you already know that." This makes us both laugh.

"So... What do you do for a living?" Ky asks.

"Well, I work at the Shwarma place down the road." I explained. "That's actually why I'm here right now. But I'll start at the beginning. We met in college and lost contact with each other once we graduated. But he came into the restaurant like, right as we were closing. We hadn't seen each other in years! So... we set up a day where we could chat and catch up. That day was this dinner. It clearly didn't go as expected." I wave my hand at the restaurant and back at us. We both laugh. "Owww. Laughing hurts." That makes Ky laugh even more. "So, how about you?"

"Well, I actually just got fired. For something REALLY stupid. I worked at Green Incorporate. It's like, the biggest electronic company in the US. But anywoo. I was the one who worked with all the techy wire crap. Like, I built solar panels, the machines that take in the regular air, separate the Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen, and blows out the Oxygen while it destroys the Carbon Dioxide. Stuff like that. But like a month ago, they started telling me stuff that I need to do that wasn't my job. So I had crap ton of stuff on my plate that wasn't my job. Like 1/2 of it. So a few days ago I was fired for... Guess what." She leans forwards in anticipation.
