16. Truth

~~~3rd Person~~~

As Tony flew through the sky to reach (Y/N) and (BFF/N), he didn't realize their clocks were ticking. From what Tony could hear, he could have only assume what happened. He can almost guarantee that they were in an accident. He doesn't know how bad it truly is.

Tony finally arrived in LA in a little less than 2 hours. He was going his maximum speed which was about Mach 3.

I did research hehehe. But I made him take longer than 12 minutes 😂 😂

As soon as he lands, he immediately tries to figure out where they would be. He starts to ask people in the streets which hospital someone would typically be taken to incase of an accident.

He's told that's its The Good Samaritan just a few blocks away. He thanks them and shoots back up in the sky.

~~~Tony's POV~~~

I figure out which hospital I need to go to so I book it there. I can't help but think the worse of what happened. I push those thoughts out as much as possible.

I finally reach The Good Samaritan and fly right on top of the roof. I decide to lay the suit down against one of the walls to keep it as hidden as possible.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., contact me if anyone comes near the suit." I command J.A.R.V.I.S. "I need to find (Y/N) and (BFF/N)."

"Of course Sir." J.A.R.V.I.S. replies and then I'm on my way.

I hop off the roof as slyly as possible. I find the entrance to the hospital and march right in. I look around to find the from desk and make a b-line for it.

"Hello S-Oh! You're Tony Stark! How may I help you Mr Stark?" The lady at the front desk changed her tone of voice right when she realized who I was but I don't care. I just need to find them.

"I'm looking for (Y/N) (L/N) and (BFF/N) (L/N). Have they been admitted here? I was on a phone call with (Y/N) and then the line went silent after a huge crash. I heard ambulances arrive and everything." I explain to the lady. Probably giving top much detail but I don't care. I don't even know if they were admitted here. This is a wild guess.

"Let me look them up for you." She says their names again as she types them into the computer. "Yes they have but are both currently in the ICU. In rooms 101 and 102. It's down the hall over there and to the left."

"Ok. Thank you." I hurry down the hallway and to the ICU. They're both in the Intensive Care Unit... That doesn't sound good at all...

I look around the giant space in the ICU to find their rooms. Once I spot them I quickly make my way over, completely ignoring the weird looks I was getting. I slow down to a stop when I hit her room. I take a deep breath and pray that she's awake. I knock on the door and wait for a response.

Crying. That's all I can do. I have nothing. I don't have anyone with me. (BFF/N) is in the other room but isn't... Here... I have no phone. I have no connection to anyone I love. I'm completely alone in a time I need someone most.

I'm hurting physically and mentally. I received a concussion, 3 broken ribs, my left wrist is fractured, and many bruises. And I lost Teresa and possibly (BFF/N).
