How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man and she won't have to worry
She'll dress up all in lace and go in style
It was a Saturday night in LA. The restaurant and bar were busy. All the tables were taken, and people were milling around the bar ordering drinks and chatting.
Two men sat at a table waiting for their meal to arrive. As they waited they watched the people.
"Nice scenery here tonight," one of them commented as he observed a number of attractive women at the bar, most of them with male partners.
"Yes, you're right," replied the other man, "Plenty of sexy young women with ordinary looking men."
"Yeah, I wonder how many of them are cheating on their husbands or boyfriends. When you're drop dead gorgeous it must be easy to find a guy to have an affair with when you get bored with your husband."
"Wow, get a load of this, Gary," said the first man gesturing towards the door.
The other man followed his gaze. He sucked in his breath. "I see her, Doug. She's hot! But look at the guy she's with."
A couple had just walked in and were standing near the bar. The woman was tall, probably because of her six inch heels, with long dark hair halfway down her back. She was wearing a dark blue Dior evening dress which met her ankles allowing a view of her latest Jimmy Choos. She was incredibly beautiful, but very young, maybe around 21. On the other hand the man she was with appeared to be in his sixties, overweight with grey hair and wearing an expensive looking dark suit.
"Do you think they're married?" Gary asked.
"Yep, I think I can see a wedding ring on her hand, and they're holding hands. Ha! She married him for his money. She doesn't love him. I bet she has a lover on the side, someone closer to her age. Look at those lyin' eyes."

She sat down in her regular booth at the café. Was he here today? Yes, there he was coming out of the kitchen. He looked across and saw her. A minute later he was at her table, tall dark, smiling his devastating smile at her.
"Good morning, Danielle," he said, "What can I get you today?"
"The usual please, Tony," she answered with her best come on smile.
He held her eyes for several seconds. "I'll have it for you right away," he said as he walked off.
When he returned five minutes later with her coffee, Danielle put her hand on his as he put the coffee on the table. "Tony," she said in a husky voice, "I know this is very forward of me, but you have been serving me here for several weeks now. I feel we have a connection. I would love to get to know you better, much better if you know what I mean."
He smiled down at her. "My lunch break is in half an hour. Maybe we could go somewhere and do exactly that."
She felt her body tingle with excitement as she watched him walk back to the kitchen.
Half an hour later they walked out onto the street together.
"My apartment is only a few minutes from here," he said, "Would you like to go there? My break is an hour."
