It has been a week since the last doctors appointment and we were back in the clinic. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep last night. Akihiko was a little groggy since I kept him up almost the whole night. I didn't mean to but because I couldn't sleep I kept turning around in bed and Akihiko woke up multiple times because of it. He always went back to sleep instantaniously but still he woke up groggily. "Misaki could you please just sit quietly for a minute. You are driving me crazy with your nervous behavior." Akihiko said then placed his hands on my shoulder and forced me down in a chair. I pouted as I looked up at him but he just shrugged not caring in the least. Then we were called into the room. "Hey Misaki, how are you today?" doctor Endo asked as we sat down. "I'm good thank you." I answered as I sat on the edge of my chair. "Okay that's good. Let's get this check up started. First we make an ultrasound so let's go over to the ultrasound room." she said already getting up and walking to the door. I followed quickly behind her and we walked to the door two doors down. Akihiko followed lazily behind me, he seemed to not care in the least but I knew he was worried for me. "Please lay down on the table and lift up your shirt." the doctor said walking over to the ultrasound machine and pulling it closer to the table. I did what she said and tried to relax. "You know the drill right. This can be a little cold." the doctor said as she squirt the gel on my stomach. Even though I knew it was coming I cringed at the cold. Akihiko smirked at me then he came over and took my hand. "I'm so nervous Usagi-san." I whispered squeezing his hand tight. The doctor put the transducer on my stomach and started searching. She smiled as she turned the screen and pointed at a small circle in the middle of the screen. "That there is your baby." she said. I smiled as I looked at the screen and then I felt my eyes slowly start to tear up. Akihiko kissed the side of my face to comfort me. After doctor Endo printed my babies picture she handed me a paper towel to wipe my belly. "Okay let's get back to the other room to talk about the rest." she said walking back to the other room. Akihiko and I followed and quickly sat down on the chairs. "Do you need the rules again or do you know them?"
"I would like to have them on paper to  review them when I need to." I answered and the doctor nodded typing on her computer. "Well everything seems to be alright. You are almost three months along. Did you really not notice anything changing?" She asked. I shook my head. "I don't have morning sickness or dizziness. Not even weight gain yet." I said. The doctor nodded again. "Well you are just three months so that is not unusual. We will keep you under close watch. I also don't want you to keep coming here. I'll make house calls for you."
"What, that's not... You don't have to do that. I can come here. I mean Usami-san can drive me here and all."
"No I don't want you to come here and catch an illness." she said firmly. I tried saying something but Akihiko cut me of. "I'll make sure the equipment will be there when you come over." he said already typing away on his phone. I sighed and knew I couldn't fight against the two of them. The doctor got up and handed me a paper. I looked at it and noticed it were the rules she talked about earlier. I got up as well shaking her hand and turning to the door. "Wait Misaki, you forgot something." the doctor called after me making me turn back to her. She handed me another paper only much smaller then the first one. I curiously looked at it and I almost started crying again at the sight. Akihiko put his arm around my shoulder, thanked the doctor and guided me outside the clinic. The drive home was silent as I was only staring at the picture in my hands. Akihiko parked the car and then turned it of. I was still dazed and didn't notice we were back until Akihiko opened my door and pulled me out of the car. I looked up at him and then smiled lightly at him. Suddenly feeling tired I leaned into his chest. Akihiko looked startled for a moment. "Misaki are you alright. Do you have any pain?" he asked putting his arms around me. I just shook my head letting my head rest in the crook of his neck. "Just tired." I mumbled not able to speak up. Akihiko chuckled and then lifted me bridal style. "It seems the symptoms are finally getting to you." he said as he made his way to the elevator. I just nodded and closed my eyes feeling relaxed in his arms. I just hoped that he wouldn't attack me right when we get home. Akihiko typed in the security code and the elevator rushed upward. I didn't notice when Akihiko had gotten through the front door nor that he placed me on the bed. I only felt he left because I was getting a little cold. Crawling under the blankets I let my conscious go and drifted of the sleep.

Akihiko's POV.

I placed Misaki on our bed and left him to sleep. Walking down the stairs to make myself a cup of coffee I thought about what we were starting. I was going to be a father and Misaki is the one with whom I will raise a child. It still didn't really sunk in yet because it still felt so unreal. I poured the coffee in my glas and took it with me to my work room. Maybe I could make a sequel to that one book I wrote when Misaki was pregnant with his nephews. Opening the door and sitting down on my desk I started writing. After a while I was interrupted in my writing by a scream. I shot up from my chair and ran to our bedroom. Misaki was sitting on our bed sobbing uncontrollably. I cautiously walked over to him and sat down beside him. Before I had even said anything he wrapped his arms around my neck and buried his face in my chest. I was quick to put my arms around him rocking him gently back and forth. "Misaki, what happened?" I asked softly. Misaki looked up into my eyes still crying but it seemed to calm down a bit. "I...I don't know." Misaki said as he let his head hang for a bit. "Misaki you were screaming and then when I got in here you are crying. So don't tell me there is nothing wrong." I said lifting his head by putting my finger under his chin. "I just had a really bad dream." he admitted shyly. "Want to tell me about it?" I asked. Misaki shook his head and then buried it against my neck. "Alright, do you want to go back to sleep?" I asked, not really sure what I could do at this time. Misaki shook his head. "No I should be getting diner ready." He said looking up at me and smiling. "Besides, I can't keep sleeping the day away. Tomorrow I need to go back to work." he said. I nodded and then let him go. He seemed a little hesitant to let me go but then he swung his legs over the side of the bed and got up. He looked back over his shoulder and then walked out the room. I sighed and then got up to follow after him. This was going to be a long couple of months.

I had a little trouble with this chapter since I didn't know how I wanted it to go, but after just starting to write it almost wrote itself. Well please comment and vote if you liked it.
