~ 'If it interferes with your peace, do without it.' ~

We arrived an hour later at Hyde Park, and from what I could see from my view in the car, it was completely packed. I didn't really blame people though, the sun was literally beating everyone up today.

Sean found a parking space, surprisingly. The whole car park was crowded, it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Once Sean was set, we all got out and made our way. Since we settled quite far from the park, we had to take a 30min walk to get there.

We started walking and Raheem being Raheem broke the silence first.

"Mans hungry still, Tyson best have made bare chicken you know. I refuse to be disappointed".

Me and Shan laughed. Nothing came between this guy and food.

"Please, you've got a big enough head and body, why do you feel the need to eat the whole world?" Shan responded.

"Well if you didn't notice a man has to fuel his body and keep these babies in place."

Sean spoke up and scolded Raheem,

"That's exactly what they are ... babies. There's nothing there."

I stifled a laugh unlike Shan who literally laughed the rest of the walk.

The screw on Raheem's face soon broke away as the sight of people enjoying themselves at the go-karting area they had created which was grass-friendly and eating around a grill came into view. The familiar BBQ smell invaded our nostrils and without further hesitation, Raheem made a beeline towards Tyson who was in charge of the barbeque and the grill.

"Is there anything that that boy doesn't eat ?"
I asked merely bewildered. Sean shook his head grinning slightly before responding,

"You and I obviously know there isn't ."

and with that he followed in Raheem's direction.

"Girl, I need to quench this thirst. The sun doesn't seem to like me cool." Shan complained beside me.

"Well we could go to the slushy area, I'm a bit thirsty too to be honest."

With that we made our way towards the slushy stall. There was a milk chocolate guy with dreads standing there with an apron. He didn't look too happy doing the job as his face was blank. He had brown eyes and some facial hair like Raheem and Sean. They all just looked like old men.

"Excuse me ?" He asked , snapping me back into reality.

"Pardon ?" I replied, playing dumb. It wasn't the first time I said my thoughts aloud.

"Never mind, what can I get you ladies ?"

I turned to Shanai who was eyeing him up. This girl honestly. Knowing that she wouldn't speak any sooner I answered his question.

"Erm... all the colors please and both of them large thanks ."

As he prepared our slushies, I whisper-shouted nudging Shan.

"Look at the way you're preeing him. You're actually drooling".

She finally looked at me kissing her teeth but smirking.

"That's only because you can't even look at Sean shirtless."

I rolled my eyes at her idea of using my weakness against me.

"There's not even a correlation between the two".

"Here you go ladies ." The guy handed us our slushies still straight faced.
