Chapter Three- One Of Us!

After awhile everyone except Max was convinced to forgive Daniel thanks to Davids puppy-dog eyes that even Max found somewhat 'cute' but also annoying. David convinced Gwen to agree to hire Daniel and they gave him one of the uniforms. Already David and Daniel were having fun watching the campers, and Gwen was enjoying the break thanks to Daniel being given some of her tasks. David and Daniel were laughing and chatting away as the campers did what they always do.

Meanwhile with Max;

"THIS IS STUPID!" Max complained to Nikki and Neil. "I don't know, he seems okay, now that he's not trying to kill us all." Neil said. "Yeah! And now David won't bother everyone as much!" Nikki said excitedly. Max sighed in annoyance. "For once, I hate to admit it, I suppose that's true." He agreed, still annoyed. Just as Nikki and Max had said that, David called for all the campers to gather around. "SERIOUSLY!" Max shouted. Nikki and Neil couldn't help but laugh, leaving the tent to see why David wanted everyone. Max reluctantly followed, more curious then anything. "So campers, to welcome our new counselor, Daniel, we are gonna have a nice big campfire and sing the Camp Campbell Anthem!" David happily announced, the campers groaning at the knowledge of the anthem. Daniel chuckled, finding Davids excitement cute.(possible Danvid dunno for sure yet)  "We'll also have smoooores!" Daniel chipped in, the campers growing excited. "Awwww even when you're not offering a sauna the campers still favor you!" David whined. "Kids love food and candy, and plus, it's not natural to have no smores at a campfire." Daniel explained. "Well that is true... okay you win Daniel." David said playfully. "We were having a contest?" Daniel joked, making David laugh. "I'll get Gwen, can you start the fire?" David asked. "I DON'T TRUST HIM FIRE!" Max butted in. "Now Max, no need to be rude." David said. "It's fine, and sure." Daniel ignored Max's insult. "Great! Thanks!" David said as he went off to get Gwen.
