Cgapter Six- You've Gone Too Far

Max jumped from where he was and saw that he had dumped the contents onto a now petrified David. He look around and saw everyone else was shocked, and waiting to see how the sensitive man would react. Before long David ran off, crying and shaking. "MAX!" A furious Gwen shouted. Daniel was still shocked. "YOU WENT WAY TOO FAR WITH THAT MAX!" She shouted. "DANIEL C'MON, WE HAVE TO FIND DAVID!" Gwen demanded, running in the direction David ran, Daniel following. The campers all glared at Max. "What? It was meant for Daniel" the ten year old said calmly. "I can't believe you Max. I didn't think you'd actually do it." Neil said. "Yeaaah Max. Like, harsh." Ered shook her head. "Sooo uncool" "That was harsh Max. Even for you..." Nikki looked down, the others nodding in agreement. "Whatever." Max shrugged. "Whatever? WHATEVER?! MAX I TOLD YOU DAVID WAS SENSITIVE! HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM WHEN FOR ALL WE KNOW HE ACTUALLY IS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF AFTER THAT!" Neil shouted. "Guys let's go help look for David..." Nikki said, everyone except Max agreed, spreading out to search for David. Max calmly washed the blood off his hands and headed back to his tent.

After a good few hours of searching Gwen and Daniel had found David gathered all the campers. Daniel took David inside as Gwen talked with the campers, thanking them for helping them search. Daniel tried calming David, who was still crying and shaking, but was finding it fairly difficult to do so. "Everyone, except Max, go to the mess hall, everyone who searched will get a reward for helping." Gwen said before going over to Max. "Max, I called home. If you don't fix the way you're acting you're going to get sent home. And i can tell you with full certainty that they aren't happy about what you did to David." Gwen said coldly. Max was silent. He didn't feel bad but he wasn't really excited to leave anymore, knowing his parents would be furious. He would act better, mainly to avoid getting sent home while his parents were pissed at him.
After everyone get whatever the reward was they went to see if David had calmed down. Now he was sniffing, but still shaking badly, looking at the ground. Neil felt the worst, why didn't stop Max before it happened? Poor David wouldn't have had that disgusting stuff dumped on him if only he had stoped Max. Gwen told him Max probably would have done it anyway but it didn't make Neil feel any better. Everyone was sent to bed early as Gwen and Daniel tried to comfort David.
