Isaac
After we got back I laid in their dumb bed and began to sulk. Why would this happen to us? Me staying in this stupid girls' house is a mistake. I would've been fine anywhere else. All I could think about is her sweet baby pink lips and hypnotizing blue eyes. To look in her eyes was like looking at the sea after a storm. It was intense yet beautiful. Damnit stop thinking of her. Her fiancé is actually a decent guy.
I began to pull the blue covers over my head in misery. A soft knock came from the door, I quickly sat up. "Come in."
Isa's innocent face appeared from behind it which made me groan. "Who else did you think I was gonna be? Lena?" She joked which made me glare at her. She came in and closed the door behind her. "That's not funny. Keep your voice down before someone hears you." I rolled my eyes.
"There better not be any funny business while we're here. They are letting us stay here for free and you better not mess with her." She scolded. She walked over to the edge of the bed, "Don't ruin someone's life because you want to lose your virginity."
"Don't you think I know that. And while you're dictating what I do, I suggest you leave Barry alone too." I said reaching for the TV remote on the nightstand. She sucked her teeth, "Ay dios mio. That's not fair. I'm not taking him from anybody." I began to flip through the channels. Oou Criminal Minds is on. "Yeah. But I don't care. I don't need sex and neither do you."
"This isn't about sex dummy! I want to love someone. Sometimes I feel bad for you because you act so coldhearted for no reason. People try to love you but you push them away. Natalie, Gabriella, Theresa-"
"Okay I get it. I really do. I should start being more open to people but it's hard." I felt my face heat up. She sat down by my feet, "You have to let go of that anger you feel from what they did to us. You have to move on. Not everyone is trying to hurt us."
I sighed knowing she was right, "Okay you can leave now. I was sulking before you came in."
She looked at the alarm clock on the nightstand next to me. "Yea it's past midnight. Merry Christmas hermano." She politely smiled as she left the room. I began to watch TV until another soft knock was at the door again. "Isa what now?" I groaned as the door opened. The most angelic woman appeared, "No. It's Lena."
I felt my palms get sweaty, "What are you doing here at 12:22 ?"
She fully stepped in and closed the door behind her. "Just wanted to make sure you guys were settling in okay. Also me and Isabel are going to the mall in the morning so do you want to come? Because we're leaving at 7 to get the sales." My eyebrows scrunched, "You want me to come to the mall with you guys to shop?"
"No I-I mean y-you don't have t-to go if you don't want," she said making her face flush. I looked past her to the TV, "Yeah whatever I'll go." When I looked again she was somewhat smiling, "Okay. So um goodnight."
"Night." I said looking into her eyes. Her eyes were at my bare chest though. "What happened?" She whispered softly. I immediately knew what she was looking at, the huge scar across my shoulder blade. I got up to put on a shirt, "Nothing." We begin to stare at each other which seemed to happen alot now. She bit her lip, "You know I'm not evil or anything. I can be a good friend if you let me."
I stepped a bit closer to her, "Maybe I don't want friends."
She took a small step towards me, "Bullshit."
