The Proposal

3 Months Later*

Alley POV

These last three months have been great with Kimber and Hunter behind bars, so no interruptions in our relationship so far.

I'm excited for tonight because Devin is taking me out, I don't know where because he's being a jerk and won't tell me.

But I still can't wait for tonight.

Devin POV

"May I help you?" A sales lady ask me. "Yes, I'm looking for a ring that would go perfect with this girl" I said showing her picture.

Once she saw the picture her smiled formed a frown.

"Well this describes her perfectly" She said pulling out a really beautiful ring.

"I'll take it" I said paying for it and leaving.

She is going to be in for a surprise tonight.

Alley POV

Dress casual.

I was saying in my head.

Since that's what Devin had said and he finally told me we're going to the beach and I was so excited.

I changed into my swimsuit first. Then I finally settled on a blue Cat in the Hat shirt, black shorts, a gray cardigan, and blue flip flops.

"Meet me outside" Devin had texted me.

I walked outside and there he was leaning against the car looking smug.

"I got a surprise for you" He said blind folding me.

I groaned because everyone who knows me knows I hate surprises including him. I'd just rather for a person to tell me upfront.

"Don't worry, It won't take long" he said leading me inside the car.

"Ready to go?" He asked me. "Sure" I sighed wishing he'll just tell me the surprise.

The drive to the beach was a long ride. We finally got there.

I was stunned by what I saw. It was beautiful. There were lights set up and a table with flowers and good food.

The stars went perfectly with the theme.

It was just gorgeous.

"It's beautiful" I said kissing him for like the millionth time today.

We sat down and he wouldn't stop staring at me. "What?" I asked him. "Do I have something on my face? How embarrassing" I mumbled. He chuckled. "No you don't have anything on your face, I just want tonight to be perfect" He said he took a deep breath before saying "Can I ask you something?" "Sure" I replied.

I was stunned to see him get down on one knee and say " Alley West, I love you, and we have two beautiful baby girls together, we are like a happy family already, we are perfect for each other, I love you with all my heart, I would just die if I saw there was someone else who could make you smile my favorite smile in the entire world, would you do me an honor of becoming my wife?" He said finishing the speech and pulled out this beautiful engagement ring.

I was speechless and happy. "Yes" I said smiling. He slid the ring on my finger and picked me up and swings me around. "I love you: I said into his shoulder. "Me to" He said kissing me with so much hunger and needing.

Good thing there was a blanket.

We were about to have sex, well made love for the first time.

It was way better this time; it felt so right this time.

After we finished, we just laid there staring up at the stars.

It was beautiful and peaceful.

I love being snuggled up with the guy I love.
