For some reason that is the only day of which I have no memory as to what happened. I mean, I still remember very clearly the consequences of it yet I have no idea as to what "It" is. Everywhere I looked, searched and investigated "It" was all blank like it never really happened.
That day I had decided to go out of town with Amy, just have a nice date. My parents and hers had quickly agreed to it which at the time made both of us extremely glad. Once we were kind of looking forward to it, because truth is that there was a park that had just opened which I was wanting to go yet had not told her, while she also knew about it and was hoping to get to drag me there. Which I have no need to say that it was not necessary.
The date ended up making that one of my best days while "It" simply made that the worst day possible.
Later on when we were on the way home I just remember all of a sudden a white bright light and that's it, next when I realized what was happening I was already already home holding my parents in my arms once that for some reason they as well as everyone else in my town had simply stopped living. It still sounds weird when I think about it now however, that was simply what happened. No one had been hurt anywhere by what I or the medics or Amy could tell, people simply died.
It makes me wonder what would have happened had we stayed.
At that moment the scholarships came in really handy for me, even more so when Amy simply couldn't take it anymore deciding to kill herself. I was needing a way out from all the pain and the memories which I thought would happen when I changed cities. Nevertheless I couldn't be more wrong.
Even after I was at a new city, with new friends, new place, the memories of my old hometown still haunted me. Every now and then I would look to my side still being able to see Amy, the following one I would see her dead, which would then lead to the image of my parents in that same state.
I guess my friends never got to understand the reason of all my trembling, as well as why I would get pale, once I never told anyone what happened back then. That only got worse when the letter came.
