He travels at the speed of light,

You can’t track him, he is already out of sight.

He loves you so dearly, you little humans,

I think he would rather call you new-mans.

Not because he’s picking on you.

But because you’re new.

A new born world, thriving and learning.

He protects you and keeps you yearning.

Don’t be fooled by his Scottish accent.

He is from Gallifrey, but his planet came and went.

And now he is here,

He protects us, who are so close and dear

To his heart.

If he finds you, take his hand and run with him,

And then you journey will start.
