He loved us from the start,
That man with two hearts.
The man who never stayed
Long enough to learn our names.
He loved us as a whole,
Not for each of our souls.
Who could ever love so much,
And through the universe leave his touch.
He loved us for who we are,
He reminded us of little stars.
Monsters kept away!
For the Doctor kept them at bay.
He means a lot to us,
Because he loves each and every one of us.
