(Y/N) p.o.v.
Cold drops of water slid down your cheeks as your hands cupped a new splash towards your face. The neverending sharp buzz that came from the dim yellow light in the bathroom was not bothering you. What bothered you was the mere thought of events that were to unfold today. You walked into your room and shut the door. Luckily your father had left for work. Not that it mattered anyway, he was not sober enough to do anything. The step-monster was likely to be out, or may you say, treating other beds like her home.
It was still dark out, more or so because of the fog. You reached into your closet and sighed. You scanned the bland clothes which usually didn't bother you but today it felt different. You shook off the feeling and changed into your black jeans along with a green long sleeve.
Your hair was in a useless position so you didn't bother to tie it up as you walked out of your house. Christa and Ymir were both walking right up ahead of you.
You weren't going to bother with attention now, especially when you knew they were arguing. You walked for a while and suddenly arms flung at you from behind. Your eyes widened in surprise as a familiar face popped in front of you with a bright smile.
"Y/N! Ahh, aren't you looking beautiful today!" Gabriel said loudly.
You slightly smiled at him and he jumped back in amusement. You then realized Levi stepping by your side.
"What's with the bird's nest?"
He was obviously pointing out the mess of your hair.
"Leevee~ if she's comfortable, then she's fine as she is, right (Y/N)?!" Gabriel asked you.
His long lashes swatted inches away from your face. Levi grabbed you by your shoulders and slightly pushed you away from Gabriel and nudged your shoulder to start walking again.
Gabriel pouted but quickly picked up his steps towards you. His joyful steps were full of bounces. Levi, on the other hand, was walking simply.
The warm touch of a cloth suddenly revolved around your neck. You realized Gabriel had wrapped his scarf around you.
"Such a delicate beauty shouldn't be freezing" Gabriel whispered with a grin.
You then realized that the chattering from your own teeth had stopped. Levi looked over at you without saying anything.
You three arrived at school, without knowing that Conny, had taken care of step one for you guys. Anthony walked up to Levi while Gabriel had grasped your hand and was pulling you to the breakfast line. Not that it bothered you, your stomach had been growling for the past hour.
"I guess I should have known since you do so much for her" Anthony blurted out.
Levi raised his brow. Gabriel stopped pulling you and now appeared interested in their conversation. You looked over at Levi who was now rubbing his temples.
"So who's the one spreading it around. Unless your fucking brain decided to work on something other than football" Levi now wore an annoyed expression.
Anthony laughed.
"Hey, I have no problem with it. I heard it when I left my bags in the locker, the other guys were talking about it," he said.
Gabriel reached out and grabbed both Levi's hand and yours. He forced them together and cried "I knew it! It was destiny!! Why and how are you guys so cute? I love it!"
You realized people were starting to eavesdrop. Even when you thought you were prepared to do this, the stares threatened you to crawl into a small box and get shipped to the center of the earth.
