I have tried to write this chapter four times smh.

I turned up the radio just a little as I came to a stop at a red light.Right when I was about to turn up the radio my phone started to ring. I read Mia across the top as I put it on speaker. The light turned green as I started driving again.

"Hey ugly.

"Damn I'm hurt. I faked a heartbroken expression even though she couldn't see me.

"What you doing today anyway?

"I told you already.

"I must have not been listening.

My expression went flat as I turned into the subdivision filled with big houses.

"Just visiting the family.

"Oh. Well call me back when you get done with that.

"Will do.

I reached over and hung up the phone. I pulled into the driveway of a black and white home.

I locked my all black range rover and started to walk up the pavement as I seen a few kids playing outside a couple houses down. When I got to the door I bent down and took the key from under the mat and put it into the keyhole and proceeded to open the door. When I got it open I put the key under the mat and closed the door behind me. My mom was holding jewels in her arms with a cloth over her shoulder.

I walked over and hugged her and she ranted on about how I should visit her more. I drove up to Illinois to see her and how she was doing. She had curls and beautiful brown complexion. She had freckles and brown eyes. From the looks of it her body was already snapping back from pregnancy.

"Can I get down? Jewels pleaded. "No more running got that? "Jewels nodded her head and my mom put her down and ran to the living room where sprout was playing. My mother just rubbed her forhead and I tried my best to contain my laughter. "I give up. I busted into a fit of giggles I couldn't hide as my mom shot me the evil eye and cracked a smile at me.

I looked over my moms shoulder to see some food being cooked. It was obvious she cooked it a little slower so she could keep an eye on jewels.

Me and my mother sparked up a conversation about how college is going. And the usual talk about is there any men she should know about. I waved her off basically telling her nah. If there was one she would be the first to know.But as a couple minutes passed by over the loud TV I could here booming music upstairs.

I pointed to the ceiling and cocked and eyebrow at her. She rubbed her forehead for what seemed like the tenth time. "Go see for yourself. I nodded and started to go upstairs. My ear drums were threatning to burst as I got closer to the door at the end of the hallway. I swung open the door only to see Greg. My moms husband's son.

He was thirteen and maybe going through a phase because he his hat was on backwards with his pants sagging and a thug life shirt. I didn't even wanna start on his disgusting room that made me gag. He turns towards me and looked at me questioning why I was here. "TURN IT DOWN! I shouted. He flinched and turned the volume to mute.

"What the hell was that terrible shit were you just playing anyway? "My mixtape he replied shrugging his shoulders. My mouth practically dropped to the floor. That goofy ass rap. All the way up the stairs all I could here was living in the hood getting a come up. When he probably hasn't stepped foot in a hood.

"Do yourself a favor and stop rapping because that shit is terrible.I slammed the door and could still hear him cussing profanities at me I pretty much had a headache. I walked back down the stairs to see Antonio home from work in his suit. He was hugging my mom from the back as she cooked. I couldn't make out what they were saying though.

I plopped back down in a seat at the island. Antonio turned around and greeted me with a smile and a hug. I always liked him for my mom. They supported eachother through everything and looked at eachother with so much love and admiration it made me hope for that some day.

I got up to use the bathroom and check on the kids. I walked to Greg's room and opened the door to see him sprawled out on the bed with his arm hanging off as I chuckled and closed the door. I walked down the stairs and found jewels and Diamond snoring on the Despicable me movie. I grabbed a throw from the back of the couch and tossed it on them.

I kissed them both on the cheek and went back upstairs. Only to be greeted with shirtless Angelo wth his head on his hand. "Your back finally his deep voice reached me as closed our bedroom door. "It was barely five minutes I joked. I swung my legs into the bed and pulled the covers over me. He grabbed me and pulled me into his warm body. "That's to long he growled as he licked the shell of my ear.

He played dirty that night whispering dirty things in my ear knowing I couldn't act on them because of the kids.
