I have been way to busy lately to notice anything about Diamond. And I am not ashamed to admit that. Me and Ameelia were workaholics and we didn't complain because it honestly meant more money but we were missing a lot of valuable time with Diamond. Thoughts of her ate at me all day and night. No matter how many files were placed on my desk she couldn't be forgotten.

I turned to the clock in my office and it read 2:49. It was my lunch time and I grabbed my keys locking my office."Can you finish these last three files for me? Melinda spoke with a southern drawl to her voice. She was an older woman and you could tell all the hours were starting to get to her by the bags under her eyes. "No problem, but you owe me."I got you. She handed me the files and I smiled at her.I would finish these during lunch to get them out of the way.

I started to walk down the hallway and stopped in front of an elevator. I pressed the button and the the arrows changed ontop of the elevator. The doors dinged open and I walked in.The doors closed behind me and I couldn't help but sigh. The holidays were close and I needed to find out if I was gonna be to busy for Christmas this year. I checked my watch and the doors opened again. I walked out into the car garage and walked for a good two minutes before finding my car. I didn't waist a moment as I got in and placed the files in the passenger seat.

Since my break was only for 30 minutes I didn't have a lot of time. I stopped by a gas station and got a slushie because honestly I wasn't hungry for anything. I thought I might as well run home. Even if I get just a glimpse of her before she leaves again. As I turned into the neighborhood I got a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach but I brushed it off. When I pulled up to the house I seen Diamond was already there and I couldn't stop the smile on my face. I grabbed the files and started to go into the house.

I looked around and didn't see anything but Diamond's shoes. But what really made me wonder was why there was another pair close by. I placed the files on the counter and began to call out her name with no response. When I got to the top of the stairs it was a soft melody playing and I began to walk towards her door. I heard the sounds of muffled voices and it was starting to get to me. I opened the door slowly and surely expecting to catch someone but no one was there. But something was telling me to go forward. And that's exactly what I did.

Twisting the door slowly but surely i got an eyefull. Diamond and this mystery man were to lost in pleasure to notice me. I felt my own heart crack and my breath was caught in my throat. I slammed the door and to say I was hurt would be an understatement. But they surely heard the door slam close as  I heard the water swish loudly and it start to drain out as a few curses followed after.

I heard my name being called but I honestly didn't care any more. I went downstairs hearing doors slam and Diamond chasing after me but I honestly didn't want to hear it. She moved on my mind was trying to get me to do the same. I grabbed the files walking towards the door. "Wait." I slammed the strong door and went and got into my car. I pulled off and I seen a look in Diamond's eyes that will be burned into soul forever.

I was done. I didn't want to put in any more effort.
