the beginning

You and S/n were at Haruhi's house just talking when S/n asked a question that led to a long flashback

S/n: how did you guys end up hosting anyway?

You: uh

Haruhi: well

Flashback episode 1

You and Haruhi were standing in front of library four opening the door hearing nothing but noise

You: I don't get it there are four whole library rooms so why do they all have to be noisy?

Haruhi: let's just go

You close the door after quickly throwing a stink bomb in

Girl: hey it stinks in here!

Guy: oh gross

You chuckle covering your mouth so they wouldn't hear you

Haruhi: come on Y/n

You: coming Haru

You jog next to her still chuckling

Haruhi: why do you have to be so mischievous?

You: Haru I've been like this since grade school I can't change now and you know you love me this way

Haruhi: yeah yeah

You both walk upstairs and down the quiet hall in front of a Music room

You: an unused music room

Haruhi: I guess this is about the only place where we can study in peace and quiet

Haruhi slowly peeked the door open you both look in to be greeted with rose petals and air

Boys: welcome

Tamaki: those with the wherewithal first on social sat ding and second in money spend their time here at the private Ouran Academy as much Ouran Host Club is where handsome boys with too much time on their hands entertain and charm girls who also have too much time on their hands it is the schools own personal elegant playground for the super-rich

Haruhi: host club?

Haruhi was leaning against the door searching for the door nob

You: calm down Haru this is obviously a taken room we'll just go find another

Twins: oh it's just boys

Kyoya: Hikaru and Kaoru these visitors are in the same class as you right

Twins: yes they are but they aren't very sociable they only talk to each other so we don't know them too well

Kyoya: blinker on it's impolite to say it like that welcome to Ouran host club honor students

Tamaki: what? then these exceptionally rare honor students we've heard about Fujioka Haruhi and L/n Y/n is you two?

Haruhi finally stopped messing with the door and turned around

Haruhi: how do you know our names?

Kyoya: it's just that our school tradition makes it difficult for commoners to get in I've been told that unless you possess a rather audacious nerve you cannot become an honor student here

Haruhi: why thank you

You yawn and put your hands behind your head still holding your books

You: can we go Haru? we only ended up in here cause we were looking for a place to study

Tamaki: yes! he's trying to say that you  are a hero Fujioka-kun you too L/n-kun even though you guys might be at the head of the class you are still the poorest people in the whole school
