You and S/n were lounging around in your room with S/n at her desk and you on the bed reading a book

You: S/n

S/n: yeah?

You: you ever wonder why we'd always try to cry when no one could tell us apart?

S/n:...we did it so people would feel bad and maybe try harder to tell us apart but so far no one besides Haruhi Hikaru and Kaoru can tell us apart

Flash back

You and S/n were sitting on a bench at the park in the hot sun when a boy about your age stood in front of you

Boy: h-hey do you wanna get some ice cream?

You: witch one are you talking to?

S/n: S/n or Y/n?

Boy: um both of you

S/n: let's play witch one is Y/n game if you can tell who's who we'll play with you

Boy: um*points at you* your S/n and *points at S/n* your Y/n

You&S/n: ding dong you are wrong so we won't go with you

You both gripped on eachother's hands now trying to cry

Boy: hey don't cry I'm sorry I mixed you guys up your both so identical

You both widen your eyes hearing he found out you were trying to cry

Boy: how about we get some ice cream? so we can get to know eachother then maybe I'll be able to tell you apart what do you say!?

You: sure

S/n: ok

Boy: really!? that's great I'm Shino Makoto but you can call me Makoto

End of flashback

You: Makoto that was his name right?

S/n: yeah it's silly he was so determined to tell us apart even though ever time he tried he failed

You: and then he did when the crash happend at the end of summer

Flash back

You and S/n were walking home when Makoto ran up to you

Makoto: you guys are fast I had to run to catch up with you and your only walking you guys are amazing

You: are you going to try and tell us apart again?

Makoto: of course I am so let's see

You both stop walking and turn around to face him

Makoto: the one on the right is S/n!

You&S/n: ding dong you are wrong

Makoto: aw man I should have known Y/n is always on the right and S/n is on the left

You were now parting ways with Makoto going straight and you and S/n  crossing the street when the car came down the road at top speed

Makoto: S/n Y/n!

You both turned around as he pushed you on the other side of the sidewalk you both look seeing him on the ground and a guy getting out the car

S/n: Makoto?

You both run over to him seeing blood dripping down his head alot of it

You: oh my gosh Makoto!

Guy: I'm calling an ambulance right now!

S/n was crying while you were holding back your tears seeing his breath getting slower

Makoto:*weakly* the...one crying is...S/n the....the one holding...them back is Y/n

You both widen your eyes tears going down both of your cheeks

You&S/n: ding dong you are right

He chuckled trying to keep his eyes open

Makoto: I did it guys I can tell you apart now

You: your gonna be okay just keep your eyes open alright!

Makoto: woah that's alot of red stuff I'm getting tired

S/n: don't close your eyes just keep your eyes open!

You both grab his hand as he smiles at you

Makoto: thanks for letting me be your friend

He closed his eyes then your eyes widen even more when his chest stopped moving

You: Makoto? Makoto!!

You get up and run towards the guy who was putting his phone away

You: you killed him you killed Makoto!

You kick his leg hard making him scream a bit and grab his leg

S/n: Y/n!?

You: you killed our only friend!!

End of flashback

You: he was a happy idiot I miss him

S/n: me too we owe him our life

You: if he was still alive

You both let a tear fall down your cheek but you slowly wipe it away

You: you used to have a crush on him didn't you?

S/n: w-what!? it was never like that I mean yeah he was cute and all but I never got as close as I wanted to

You: so you did like him

S/n: shut up!

You chuckle and roll on the bed a bit

S/n: you had a crush on him too

You: did not I had a crush on nobody

S/n: yeah because of your tuff ego

You: shut up!
