Isabella's hand was intertwined with mine. Her hand was clammy from nervousness and her eyes watered every few seconds. I knew she was worried. I could feel the aura that radiated around her. Emotions coursing through her that I knew she couldn't contain. I squeezed her hand reassuring her as we made our way to the outskirts of the territory. Shouting could be heard from a distance and a mouth full of curse words soon came after. Mia's distressed voice came floating through the trees as she continued to struggle. As we approached a warrior was clutching his hand to his cheek and blood began to drip down in between his fingers.

"She bit him and tried to get away, she didn't get that far from the tree we tied her up to... but Kevin on the other hand..." Tristan drawled out. Mia's mouth was covered in blood and her chin was dripping of the moist red liquid.

"You really know how to pick them Sebastian." Isabella says going up to Kevin. I notice him smirk at the comment. He winces as he did because the big chunk that Mia tore from his cheek. Isabella removed Kevin's hand from a gaping hole, a big chunk of red meat was definitely noticeable and it would leave a scar but it would heal.

As I gazed over at Mia I couldn't helo but notice her eyes. Her eyes were tainted yellow and the color was brighter today than any other day that I had seen them. She noticed me analyzing her and her head craned to one side looking at me closely. I felt Isabella's presence as she stood next to me also taking in the eyes of Mia that starred straight back at us.

"She looks sick." Isabella says getting closer to Mia's face. Before Isabella could get any closer to her. I put my arm across Isabella's chest not letting her get close knowing at one point Mia was a decent warrior of ours. Even if Mia was chained up from head to toe something wasn't right.

"Mia," The women's eyes didn't stray looking away from Isabella. They were stoic and completely oblivious to anything standing in front of her.

"MIA!" I roared. My voice echoed out into the woods and over the lands of the moist dirt and hallow trees, finally gaining her attention. She snarled in my direction and her eyes now didn't leave mine. Mia's face looked terrifying. Her teeth were covered in blood as she didn't remove her gaze from my face. A smug expression spread across her face and a dark look appeared.

"Isabella, I don't believe you've told Sebastian everything...In regards to Cole and your past." My body tensed at her words and I looked at Isabella. Her body went rigid at Mia's words and she was staring off in the distance not moving. Her fists were at her sides and she curled them up so tightly that I could see her claws digging into her skin as blood was being drawn.

"You know nothing!" Isabella's eyes were watering once again at the thought of her past. Her eyes grew red with frustration and her body was straining herself from physically reaching out towards Mia.

"I do. I know enough. I also know how that beautiful baby girl of yours was made Isabella." A sickening feeling was left in the pit of my stomach. Isabella's eyes turned black and I almost didn't recognize the face that I mesmerized.

"YOU MIA ,WILL DIE KNOWING YOUR MATE IS A WORTHLESS BASTARD WHO DESERVE'S TO BE DEAD. WEATHER HE IS THE FATHER OF MY FIRST BORN OR NOT, HE DESERVES ANGUISH!"

Isabella's body began to shake and her face turns the reddest of reds. Isabella's hands are the first thing that morph into her stunning wolf. Her coat spreads along her paws and then trailing up her arms. The breaking of bones is heard and her clothes are now torn to shreds on the dirt. She howls at the sky and it gets carried away with the winds as she calls for her lost daughter. It doesn't take Mia long to realize her words brought a wolf standing in front of her. Mia's eyes show panic and fear as Isabella takes stealthy steps towards Mia.

"Isabella."

Her head snaps in my direction and her hardened black eyes meet my green ones. Her wolf had taken over what I could no longer control. I had never ever seen her like this. It was a whole new person that I didn't recognize had now took over her body physically and mentally. She snarled my way and the men were watching closely as my mate was on the edge of a dark path that had sucked her away. She got closer to Mia's face and saliva began to drip from the side of her mouth like the rogues that had no self control. I looked her over at her. She was magnificent but this was not her. This was anger and grief all in one. She was hurting. Her pain was something she no longer wanted to endure.

"Isabella snap out of it. We need her. She's the only way that we can find Thalia." My voice begged. But if she heard me I knew it was faint.

"Seba-.." I heard the shaky breath of Mia and looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Shut-up." Mia's mouth clamped shut and I focused on Isabella once more before I knew she was completely gone. Isabella circled around Mia and I knew, I just knew that there was no way of stopping her. Isabella's decision was final and the woman who helped take her pup was going to die and the last thing she would see would be the eyes of a mother who mourned for her lost child. Rain drops slowly hit the floor and a light mist was in-between the trees. It had gone silent and Isabella now stood in front of Mia who lost all color from her face.

A second didn't go by when Isabella snarled and her paws were outstretched and were clamping on the face of Mia. Mias screaming pierced through the cold air and you could hear her cries for help and  of agony. Isabella tore at her face and continued until Mias cries were cut short. The snapping of jaws wouldn't stop and blood pooled around Mias head, around her shoulders and down her body. Isabella's snout was covered in a deep red and her eyes were still as black as night. I didn't turn away from the what took place before my eyes. I just watched as my mate whined in the process and in wolf form her body fell limp on the ground next to a lifeless Mia.
