The Chemistry Between Us

Evie POV

<Mal and I became friends my very first day of highschool. We clicked immediately despite the things that happened in the past. What was weird was that villains weren't suppossed to care about anyone, not friends, not even family. Each month that passed, we became closer and closer. Little did we know that our friendship would grow so fast in such a short time. No one could explain that, we simply had chemistry, and the fact that our mothers tried to break us apart, made our bond stronger.>

I was sewing my new dress when I started to feel Mal's gaze on me. I looked at her and simply smiled. "I love you" I thought, and she nodded at me like answering that back. I had an amazing relationship with Carlos, Jay, and now Lonnie, Jane and Ben; but the relationship I had with Mal was one of a kind. No words needed.

Loud screams suddenly woke us up from our cute moment. They were coming from outside the building. We rushed to see what was going on and found out that Maleficent found a way to get back to normal and was scaring people and throwing curses everywhere.

"Mom! What are you doing here?" Mal yelled. "How did you get back to human?"

"You! Little nasty girl, traitor. My own blood. I can't believe how weak you have become!!! Specially since you made friends with those stupid people" Maleficent was so angry.

"I am NOT weak, in fact, I'm stronger now that I have them in my life" Mal answered.

Maleficent's hands started to make circles and green smoke appeared on them. She throw it directly to Mal.

"Mal!!!" I screamed. "Go find the Fairy Godmother, you assholes!!" I told some people who were around. "Mal! Are you Ok??".

She turned to face and look at me, and I hugged her when I saw she was harmless. But as soon as she didn't hug me back I knew that something was wrong. I looked at her directly in the eyes and I was afraid of the worst.

"Wait... aren't you the daughter of the Evil Queen? And why are you so close to me?" she said with disgust, pushing me away.

"From now on, you won't rember having made friends." said Maleficent. "I took your memories away, you weak creature. Now you will be strong like your mother"

"BIBBIDI BABBIDI BU" Fairy Godmother spelled, and Maleficent came back to a lizard. Jay, Carlos, and the rest appeared by her side and run towards Mal and I.

"Thanks God you are here!" I smiled. "Can you give Mal her memories back?".

"I'll try my best, dear. Stay back," she said. She tried over and over again and couldn't fix the curse. "I'm sorry, kids. I think the last thing we got to do is just try to told her your adventures together, stories, show pictures of you... and if it doesn't work, you will need to re- make her friendship."

Mal was looking at all of us as if we were totally strangers. I felt like a knife was being nailed on my back.

"Mal, hey, it's me, E." I wanted to grab her hand, but she hit mine and did a step behind.

"I know who you are, I know who all of you are. I just don't  understand why on earth you are talking to me. Stop looking at me like that and go away from me." she said to all of us, as she was starting to walk towards the residence.

Mal POV

Everybody was trying to show me pictures of this, telling me stories of that, and blah. I was banned of all the spell books so I couldn't   have fun cursing people. What was the point of life, then? 

"Wasn't you locked in a castle back in the isle?" I asked to the stubborn bluenette girl.

"Yeah, until I was 15. Since then, I met you, Jay and Carlos and we became close friends, specially you and me"

"Close... what? Please! Never in my dreams I would make friends, that means caring about others. In other words, weakness"

"You sound just like your mother" said the princessy girl, with a sad face.

"Really?" I was so happy to hear that. "That is my main goal in life. Now, if you excuse me, I have better things to do than being with you".
