Chapter 10- "Revenge is Sweet!"
When I wake up this morning it takes me a second to remember where I am. I feel myself laying on something hard and when I roll over I see Will once again lying beside me. He starts to stir, but I want to stay with him for a little longer. My eyes quickly flutter close and I act as if I'm still sleeping soundly. Will's arm gently wraps around my waist and his breath is warm against my face. This boy doesn't even have morning breath! I swear he has no flaws.
"Time to rise and shine, nerd. I know you're not sleeping."
"Mmm, just five more minutes." I plead in a whining tone.
"C'mon, you can sleep when you're dead!" He exclaims, way to happily for someone who just woke up.
"Huh, fine." I mumble as I stalk off the roof into the bathroom for a shower.
"Someone's not a morning person!" Will calls after me.
"Shut up." I responds and I can hear him chuckling.
After taking a shower I take out my phone to text Leah.
-Come over, I have big news. Does 10:00 a.m. work for u? -Lou
She responds almost right away which is one more thing I love about my best friend. She's not one of those people that take days to answer.
-Oooo... sounds like something juicy happened! See u at 10! -Leah
I put my phone down and see Will making what looks like very burnt toast.
"Want a piece?" He asks looking sheepishly.
"Hmm, I'm gonna have to pass on that offer." I say as I walk over to him and sit down at the table.
"Yeah, cooking doesn't exactly run in the family." He comes and takes a seat next to me bringing no food with him.
"You don't say." I remark, rolling my eyes.
I stand up to start making coffee for the two of us and can feel Will watching me. A shiver goes down my spine, I have no clue why this boy affects me so much. I'm grabbing the coffee mugs when I feel someone's breath on my ear.
"Hi," he whispers, and I turn around to face him.
"Uh, hi." I squeak. He has me cornered by both his arms which he snakes around my waist. I seriously hope he can't feel my heart beating right now because it's going a mile a minute. He pushes me lightly against the counter and kisses me. I know we already kissed but each time it still causes explosions to go off in my chest. Everything around me starts to fade and it's just me and Will. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me.
"Hey, Lou, I'm he- woah! Sorry to interrupt!" She exclaims, even though she has a huge smile on her face. Uhh, eye roll. We both pull away, neither of us even hearing the door open.
"Well, I better get going then. I had a great time last night! Especially the end, nerd." He whispers in whispers so only I can hear and my face turns crimson. He bursts out laughing. "Oh my gosh! Your face when I said that. I knew it would make you blush."
"Haha, very funny. Don't you have to get going?" I ask him, slightly annoyed.
"Okay, okay, I'll leave now." He responds, walking over and kissing my cheek.
"I really did have fun with you." He says in a serious tone, looking at me with those blue eyes that I love.
"I had fun with you too." I respond, wanting to kiss him all over again, but settle on a hug. He turns around and leaves, saying hi to Leah on the way out. When the door closes Leah starts to squeal.
