Unwanted Arguement💔

The next few days there wasn't any talk of what had happened with George and his dad.

Me and the lads went along like nothing had changed.

Which made me very happy because I needed this vacation to be as calm as possible.

But lately I had noticed George disappearing for hours at a time and coming back to the cabin either very stressed out, or upset and angry.

I wanted so much to know what was causing him to be like this.

So I decided to try and figure out what was going on.

If, I could get George to talk about it.

"Hey, babe."

I knocked on the open bedroom door, and sat down beside him on the bed.

He strummed his guitar and responded with a "huh."

"How are things going with your dad?

Have you been talking any?"

He looked up and smiled.

"Yeah, well sometimes.

I try so hard to get on the same path with him, but it never ends up happening."
I nodded my head.

"You see me and him just never got along.......I guess."
He began to look anxious, like he wasn't telling me the truth.

"Hey, are you two love birds coming?

We dont want to be late for the drive in movie!"

John yelled from the living room.

"We'll be right there!"

I stood, and motioned George to follow me.

We had a great time at the movies last night!

Except that George didnt seem very interested.

He kept looking around, and licking his lips more than he already did.

I really needed to know what was going on, I got him to talk but he really hadn't told me anything specific.

So this time I decided to take a different approach.

That morning John and Paul had gone to go check out a bonfire where Paul described it as a chick magnet.

So while they were off doing....Whatever!

Me, George, and Ringo stayed at the cabin.

"So George, when do I get to meet this dad of yours?"
George didn't look up from the papers.

"You don't."

I glanced over at Ringo.

He shrugged his shoulders and, nodded me to go on.

"But , I thought you and him were getting along."

He kept his eyes on the papers as he scribbled something down.

"We're not ready for that yet."

I lowered my eyebrows and sat next to him very confused.

"What do you mean?

I thought we were getting serious."

George shook his head.

"We are serious."

I laughed half heartedly.

"Then why can't I meet your dad?

Because usually in a serious relationship, the couple meets each others parents."

George chucked the pen across the room and stood up abruptly.

"You know what!?

I don't have to sit here and listen to your bloody crap!

I said no Claire.

Got it!"

George hovered over me, and I stood there terrified.

"What the crap is wrong with you George!"

Ringo shoved George back by his shoulders.

"Okay listen, I know your having a hard time right now.

Yeah, you and your dad don't get along so good.

Yes, things are stressful.

Yes, you are a having major family problems right now.

But that gives you absolutely no reason to take it out on Claire!

You don't scream your head off at somebody like that George!"

I stood there tears streaming down my face.

Mine and George's eyes met, I couldn't look at him, I ran out of the room sobbing.

I slammed the spare bedroom door shut, and slowly slid down the door hugging my knees to my chin.

I breathed heavily as I tried to calm myself down.

Ringo's POV.......

I looked through my best friend unable to identify what was wrong.

"I should have taken her away from you when I had the chance."

I straightened the collar of my jacket and walked out of the room, leaving George alone.

I went to the spare bedroom door and pressed my ear up against it, then knocking lightly.

I could here Claire crying, and my blood began to run hot.

"Go away George I don't want to talk to you!"

I took in a breath and let it out slowly.

As I was just about to answer, but I walked away figuring I should give Claire some space.
