I rocked Lillianna as her eyelids slowly closed and she fell fast asleep. I smiled at my baby girl's precious face. I heard a light knock come from the doorway.  I turned my head to see George standing there smiling at me and Lillianna. "Is she asleep?" George mouthed to me. I looked down at Lillianna and then back at George nodding my head, and putting my finger to my lips motioning him to keep quite. He stepped over to me and Lillianna quietly. I watched as he stroked her tiny head. He smiled at me proudly and kissed me lightly as he reached out to hold her. I wrapped her in her blanket tight and handed her over to her daddy. George giggled lightly as he tickled under her chin. I stood up behind  him and rested my chin on his shoulder. "Wow, Claire. She is so precious." He looked back and gave me a wide grin. I smiled and reached my hand over his shoulder stroking her little new born arm with my pointer finger. "She is more than I could ever ask for." George turned his head kissing me lightly. I smiled as I came around to the front of him to take her back. "We best lay her down and let her sleep." George pulled back cuddling her up close to his chest. "Oh, come on daddy wants a few more minutes with his baby girl." I giggled and looked at George as he situated Lillianna so that she was laying her head on his shoulder. "Okay fine, but at least let's sit down." I nodded over to a pink couch that sat in the corner of her nursery. George slowly walked over to the couch and sat down trying not to wake Lillianna up. I sat next to him, and brought my knees up onto the couch, and laid my head on George's shoulder. He cradled her in his safe sucure arms and, brushed his fingertips over her peach fuzz like hair. "She is just as beautiful as her mother." George whispered as he studied our baby girl. "Thank you love, but she has your eyes." I giggled as I kissed his cheek. "Claire...... " I lifted my head and he looked into my eyes dreamily.  "Claire, I want another baby." I gave out a laughed and covered my mouth as Lillianna shifted in George's arms. "Hey mommy needs a break before she goes carrying another child on her blatter for nine months!" I whisper yelled. George laughed, and kissed my forehead. "Do you want to put her to bed now, I think she might wake up if she stays over here with her giggly parents." I smiled and was just about to take her till I got an idea. "How about daddy puts her to bed? George you gotta learn someday, honey." I gave George a pat on the shoulder motioning him to go on. He shook his head, and his eyes widened. "Love, I would feel better if you would do it. I'm afraid I might drop her." He looked down at are priceless baby Lillianna, and kissed her forehead. I gave him a reassuring smile. "Here how about we do it together." He looked at me confused. "Look, you hold her just like you are, and then I will put a arm lightly on top of her, and then one under her. Then we will both walk over to the crib, and you can lay her in the bed.... Okay?" George nodded nervously and we did exactly what I said. Once we got to the crib, George laid her down gently and covered her up. He turned to me and embraced me in a warm hug. "See, you did it." George kissed me and hugged me tight once again. We walked back over to the couch and sat watching our little Lillianna sleep peacefully. "George, why are you so afraid you might drop her?" George had laid back on the couch and I laid on top of him my head resting on his chest. "She is just so perfect, and fragile. I don't want to hurt her." I smiled at George's caring for our baby. "Babe, you love me right?" George nodded. "And have you ever hurt me." George sat there staring down at me. "No, no Georgie you haven't. I promise if you love her as you love me, you're not gonna hurt her. I promise." I leaned in close to him, and his soft, gentle lips caressed me tenderly. "I love you, darling." I smiled as I lay my head back down on his chest. "I love you too Georgie." We laid there together watching Lillianna sleep. Soon me and George fell asleep holding each other tight, in the room of our new born baby girl....... Lillianna Ray Harrison.
