Hi guys! :) Sorry it takes so long for me to upload! I'm co-writing a story with GottaReadMe. So, yeah... You can check it out if you want! It's called 'Just A Dare'. :)

I walked out of school to find only Marcus waiting there for me.
Approaching him, I asked "Where's Anna?"
"She left early. She said she had some family emergency or something like that."
"Since when? She never told me anything. Is her family alright?"
He shrugged in response, but I could see the worry in his eyes. "That's what she told me. She was in a hurry though."
Family emergency? I hope nothing bad happened..
"Oh.. I'll just text her to make sure everything's okay."
I brought out my phone and typed a quick message before hitting the 'send' button.
Is everything okay? What happened to your family? :( -M
It only took a few seconds before I received a reply.
Everything is fine. :) Don't worry about it. I only told Marcus that lame excuse so you could have some quality alone time. ;) -A
After reading her text, I laughed. Typical Anna.
You couldn't think of a better excuse? We were worried over here! What do I tell him about your so called family emergency? -M
Well, sorry. I can't think on the spot! Just tell him something happened with Bentley. And be grateful that I'm spending my Friday night watching re runs so that you could have some time with Marc! I expect to hear details of kiss action by tomorrow! -A
I blushed. The thought of me kissing Marcus was exciting but it still made me blush all kinds of red.
"Is everything okay? Why are you blushing?" Marcus asked, as he tried to read the text over my shoulder.
I quickly stuffed my phone back in my bag before he could see anything.
"Yeah! Everythings fine. She just... uh.. had to take Bentley to the vet." I said, referring to Anna's Golden Retriever.
"What happened to Bentley?" Marcus asked worriedly. He always had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs.
"He just ate something he shouldn't have..That's all. They said he'll be fine."
"Oh." He visibly relaxed after my statement.
"So, I guess it's just you and me tonight!" I said as I looped my arm through his and started heading the way home.
"Yep." He smiled a smile that made my heart flutter. "What shall we do, milady?"
"Hmm..How about we just stay at my place. My parents won't be home until 11. So, we have plenty of time...." I whispered in his ear.
".. to EAT ALL THE FOOD!" I suddenly screamed in his ear.
He winced, rubbing his ear. "Ouch, Monnie! You didn't have to shout in my ear. I'd like to be able to hear until I'm at least 80."
I smiled cheekily at him. "Well, you got any better ideas?"
"Nah. Yours is pretty good. Free food is good for me." He said, smirking at me. "But we should at least watch a movie."
"Okay, sounds good. You provide the movie, since I'm providing the food. But absolutely NO SCARY MOVIES." I told him.
"Aww! But where's the fun in that? I was hoping for a scary movie so you'd be scared and cuddle into me like in those cliche scenarios. Then, I'd stroke your hair and whisper sweet nothings and we'll live happily ever after."
