Castiel stood in front of the mirror, trying to fix his tie for the fifteenth time. Cas hated to be dressed up, but it was his first day of work and he wanted to make a good impression. If it weren't for needing the money however he would have never let Dean talk him into getting a job at the same place Dean worked. Just as Castiel was ripping off his tie, he heard the all to familiar knock at the door. Cas threw his tie on the couch, and went to open the door.
Castiel's heart sped up a bit as he opened the door and saw Dean standing there in his nicely pressed suit. Cas looked down at his rumpled clothes and sighed. "Are you ready to go Cas? You don't want to be late for your first day at work." Dean said with a smile.
Cas sighed again and said "I'm as ready as I'll ever be." He shrugged on his trench coat as they headed out the door to Dean's impala.
Dean opened the passenger door for Cas, and as he slid in the car he said, "you look good today. Do you always dress like that for work?"
Dean smiled and his green eyes sparkled in the sun. "Yeah I usually dress up for work, but don't worry I change out of my clothes as soon as it's over."
Cas' breath caught in his throat as he thought of Dean taking off his shirt, and he quickly tried to get rid of the image from his mind so Dean didn't see the unwanted hard on he was starting to get. Dean crossed around the car and climbed in. It was a twenty minute drive to work, and it was made awkward by them not talking to each other. When they got to work Cas hurried inside leaving Dean trailing behind.
Work progressed slowly, and Cas couldn't help, but notice that all the women seemed to love flirting with Dean. He sighed and looked at his work again. Once again Cas had to redo what he had already typed out, because he had made several mistakes. This was the third time of messing up, and he was about to think he couldn't handle being a secretary until Dean walked up to his desk and asked, "you ready to go get something to eat buddy?"
Cas looked up, and saw that Dean had his arm wrapped around a brunettes waist. She had shoulder length hair, and an impressive figure. He could see why Dean was impressed with her. "I think I'll just stay here today. I have a lot of stuff to fix, and I'm not really hungry." He half lied.
"Ok then. I'll see you in a few hours when we head home I guess." Dean replied with a slight frown. Cas watched Dean as he walked away with the woman, then he put his head in his hands. "Why did I do that," He asked himself. This day was shaping up to be one of the worst days he ever had, and he still had four hours left of work before he could go home and down his sorrows in alcohol.
The rest of the day went a little bit better for Cas. He started focusing on his work more and forgot about his friend. At the end of the day though Dean came to his desk with a smile on his face. "You ready to head home buddy?" He asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be," Cas replied.
"Great. I'm going to go to the bathroom real quick and change into something more comfortable. You might as well come with me, and wait in there while I change." Dean said.
He started walking towards the bathroom, so he didn't notice the look of longing in Cas' eyes as he thought about seeing Dean change. He soon got up and followed his friend. Dean was already unbuttoning his shirt, as Cas walked in. "You know when you said you changed after work I didn't think that you meant you changed hare." Cas said as he watched Dean take off his dress shirt and start to unbutton his pants.
"Yeah, I can't stand to wear a suit any longer than necessary, so I usually leave a change of clothes in baby for after work." He replied as he slid his pants to the floor.
Cas' breath caught in his throat again, and he walked into the nearest stall to try to calm down. "God Dean why do you have to do this to me? Why can't you see what you're doing? " He thought to himself. It took a bit longer than he wanted it to for his hard on to subside, but when he finally was ready Dean was fully dressed and standing out there waiting for him.
When they got out to baby, the women that Dean had his arm around earlier was waiting for them. "We still on for our date?" She asked in a British accent.
"Of course Bella. Wouldn't miss it," Dean replied as he opened the door for Cas. Cas refused to look at the woman as he climbed in the car, but unfortunately he looked up in time to see her arms wrapped around Dean and their lips locked on each other.
When they got back to Cas' house he tried to get out without saying anything, but Dean out his hand on his arm. "Cas the company is having a Christmas party in a week. Would you like to go with me?" He asked.
"Sure,"  Cas said "now if you'll excuse me I have things that I need to do before I go to bed tonight." With that Cas went in the house leaving Dean to watch him go.
