Cas walked into the house and threw himself down on the couch. He just laid there thinking about how Dean had gotten undressed right there in front of him. Ever since Cas had met Dean he had dreamed of seeing what he looked like without his clothes on, and now he knew.
"Cas are you home yet?," Gabriel called from his room.
Cas quickly sat up, and pulled a pillow on his lap. "Yeah Gabe I'm on the couch." He called back.
"Hey Cas, do you have any money?" Gabriel asked as he sat down on the couch. "We don't have any food in the house."
"I just bought food yesterday. What the hell happened to it all?" Cas snapped.
"Me and Sam kinda had an experiment with some of it. Let me tell you pickle juice isn't a good substitute for water when making pancakes." He replied.
"Oh my God, you guys are going to spend more money than I make in a year in less than a month if you keep doing this. Also why did you make pickle pancakes?  That doesn't even sound remotely good."
"Eh it was something to do. Anyway how was your first day of work with your boy toy?" Gabriel asked, while moving the pillow from Cas' lap. "Anything good happen?"
"It was a disaster from the start," Cas replied. "First I kept messing up everything I was doing, because I was watching Dean flirt with all the women. Then I didn't go to lunch with him, because he wanted to bring along some office tramp and those two have a date tonight. Before we left work Dean said he had to change his clothes and invited me in the bathroom to watch him."
"Whoa hold up. He asked you to watch him get undressed. Did you guys kiss or anything?" Cas just shook his head. "Come on why not? You can't tell me that you didn't want to jump on your chance to kiss the man of your dreams." Gabe said. "I mean seriously he was standing in front of you with his shirt off the least you could have done was feel his chest or something."
"Actually, he stripped down to just his boxers." Cas blushed as he said it.
"And you didn't even tell him you want him?"
"Gabe I don't even think he's into guys. I mean he is always going on dates with women, but I've never seen him with a man before."
"Still you should do something. I mean he practically shows you his whole body, and you do nothing."
"I actually went into a stall while he put on his other clothes." Cas replied feeling more mortified than anything. It was bad enough that he was beating himself up for not even trying to be with Dean, but he didn't need his little brother doing it too.
Gabe sighed. "I'm going to go over to Sam's for a while, and hang out with him." As Gabe headed to the door, he turned back around and said, "if it's any consolation Sam told me that he thought if you asked Dean out he'd say yes in a heartbeat. You're the only person Dean ever mentions at home, and Sam says his eyes even sparkle more as he talks about you."
After Gabe left Cas just laid back on the couch and pictured Dean in the bathroom at work again standing in front of him in his boxers. Since the office was closed on the weekend Cas spent the next couple of days holed up in his room, not wanting to talk to anyone. However, early Monday morning Cas was back in front of the mirror in his wrinkled suit. "How in the world can Dean always look so good, and I always look like a beggar?" Cas asked his reflection. His hair was a disheveled mess, and his blue eyes had dark circles under them from lack of sleep. Before he had time to even attempt to control his locks, he heard the knock at the door. Dean was here to take him to work.
Cas sighed and opened the door. "You ready to go start the day?" Dean asked with a smile.
"As ready as I'll ever be," Cas replied while shrugging on his trench coat.
"You look good today Cas. Did you style your hair differently?" Dean asked.
Cas just ignored him and got in the car. It was a quiet ride to work again, and when they got there Bella was there waiting for them. She wrapped her arms around Dean and pulled him to her body. Cas just walked away so he didn't have to see anymore. He sat down at his desk, and luckily this time he was able to pay attention to his work. At lunch time he once again decided to stay behind rather than go to lunch with the kissing couple, and Cas once again saw a disappointed look on Dean's face as he left.
At the end of the day again Dean came to Cas' desk. "You going to come with me while I change?" Dean asked.
"Yeah, sure." He replied. Cas followed him into the bathroom, and watched as Dean removed his shirt. However, this time before Dean got his pants undone, Cas pulled him to his body and gently kissed his lips.
Dean moved his hands to Cas' back, and slowly turned him so Cas was up against the door. Dean's hands moved up Cas' shirt, but then he stopped and pulled back. "Cas, I think we need to stop." Dean said.
"Sorry, Dean. I don't know what got into me. I knew you wouldn't like it." Cas replied dejectedly.
Dean leaned in and kissed Cas again. With his lips still close to Cas' he said "I like it, I just think we should do this somewhere more private than a public bathroom."
Cas nodded and Dean finished getting dressed. When they got outside Bella was by the car again. She went to put her arms around Dean, but he stopped her. "Bella I don't think we're going to work out." He said.
Dean and Cas got in the car, and headed back to Cas' house. When they pulled up in the driveway Dean asked,  "do you mind if I come in for a bit?"
"Of course not." Cas replied. He leaned over and gently kissed Dean. Then he said, "in fact I kind of insist you come in."
Dean stared into Cas' blue eyes. He didn't know why he didn't notice it before, but he knew now that he was in love with his best friend Cas. Dean followed him inside, and after they closed the door he pushed Cas up against the door, as he kissed him. He ran his fingers up Cas' shirt. Cas moaned, and opened his lips a little allowing Dean to get his tongue in his mouth. Dean started removing Cas' trench coat, and shirt when they heard footsteps in the hall.
"Cas, Sam and I are going to go,  oh." Dean and Cas looked over to see, Gabe and Sam standing in the front room. "Oh I'm so sorry Cas. I wasn't expecting you to have company."
"It's alright Gabe." Cas said, as he moved away from Dean. "What were you wanting anyway?"
"We were wanting to go shopping, but if you're busy we can always go later." Sam said, with a knowing glance at his brother.
"No,  I can take you guys with me." Dean said. "You want to come with us Cas?"
"I think I'll stay here today. I'll see you tomorrow when you come pick me up for work." He kissed Dean on the cheek then headed upstairs, as the other three headed out the door.
