I walked out of my apartment in the early hours of the morning. It was quiet, I liked that. I didn't know where I was going, I let my feet do the thinking as my mind drifted far away. I took in the scenery that was before me. It was nice; serene and calming. It was a bit foggy, but I didn't mind. It was better that way; no judging. I sniffed the air, to get the scent of eucalyptus and dew. It was refreshing after staying in the polluted city air for so long. I looked over my shoulder to see the faint outlines of the towering skyscraper buildings. Some other people were, which surprised me. It was 5:30 in the morning, last time I checked. My feet led me to a bench and I sat down. Most of the people that were here, were most likely doing their daily morning jog. The other people must be like me; here to get away or wander around.

I looked at the bench- Oh, someone left their book here.

"To Kill a Mockingbird," I mutterred to myself. I picked it up and read the blurb. I have only seen half of the black and white movie of this, I never read the book. I took the book and opened it up to thevery first page. The initials 'N.H.' were scribbled in the corner. I started reading it, I mean I had nothing better to do.

A nice morning to read a good book. I curled up on the bench and got myself comfortable.

I read the first chapter before someone interrupted my reading time. I jumped, startled by the voice.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. But, er, just wanted to get my book back." He pointed to the one in my hand.

"Oh my gosh, you must be 'N.H'!" i said surprised. He looked confused.

"Your initials I'm guessing," I said, flicking back to the first page.

"Right, yes." He said with a little smile.

"Well, here you go then," I passed the book over and got up from where I was sitting. He grabbed the book and held it in his hands. We just sort of stood there, looking at each other. It wasn't awkward though, it was quite comfortable. Well, at least at my end.

"Well, um, I have to head back to my apartment, so maybe I'll see you around?" I said, ending with a questioning tone. He nodded and said a little goodbye.

I watched him as he started walking off in another direction. He turned around to see me still standing in the same spot. He grinned at me as he caught me watch him. I blushed at happened.

He was very attractive; blonde hair, with dark brown roots, ocean blue eyes that you could sail around and never find a way out and a cute smile that made your heart beat faster. His pale skin looking softer than silk. His oversized hoodie hiding his, what I'm guessing, pretty good looking body.

I kicked at myself- Why didn't I get his number?! Gosh Sienna, you can be so dumb!

I looked around and saw that the fog cleared up and more and more people were here.

I guess its time to go then.
