The fans were driving me nuts.

I couldn’t do it, I had to leave.

But how? They weren’t exactly letting anyone out. They were using themselves as like a barricade for the boys. They only let what they wanted in, but once you were in you never got out. Kind of like a fandom. No matter how hard you try, you are always a fan.

“Hey Ands, I think its time we, uh, left. I mean you have work tomorrow and I have to start working early too…” I whispered into Andy’s ear.

“Ten more minutes,” pleaded Andy. She gave me her puppy dog eyes even though it looked like she had this weird ass eye condition. I agreed anyhow.

We were all just talking, hanging out; like all the screaming that was going was just rain on a stormy day. We were discussing our embarrassing moments; I had a lot to contribute.

“So this one time, I was putting out the laundry on the washing line and because I was the only around, I just burst out rapping; like Busta Rhymes. I was on a roll and when I had finished, my neighbour started clapping. It’s safe to say that was the only reason why I moved out.”

“You rap?” Zayn looked astonished. Okay, so maybe I don’t have a ghetto booty like Missy Elliot, but that just shows ‘never judge a book, by its cover’ is something that is true and should be practiced,

“She raps all the time, you should hear her in the shower. It sounds like a frigging Jay-Z concert.”

“I do not rap all the time,” I sat back and crossed my arms.

“Yeah, you do.” Arguing back.

“List one time I rap, apart from the shower?” I asked, this ought to question her argument.

“In the car, when you’re straightening your hair, hanging the clothes on the line, cooking, to Siri, when you’re cleaning the house and when you go shopping you hum the tune of a rap song.” Andy sat back, satisfied that she won.

“I said list one!”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“So, you rap?” said Niall, smiling.

“Apparently, I do, according to an unreliable source.” Making eye contact with Andy.

“Unreliable? Girl, just remember who you live with,” getting all defensive.

“Damn Ands, I’m joking,” putting my hands up in surrender.

Andy just stuck her tongue at me, oh that child.

“So where do you guys work?” Asked Liam, he was sitting on the other side of Zayn, taking up as much room as possible on the lounge.

“Well, I work at a little clothing store near my apartment, whereas Andy over here works for Meyers. You know the big retail shop with heaps of brands and… stuff. Its actually not far from here.” I spoke for the both of us.

“Dude, it’s on the other side of town,”

“Dude, we are on the other side of town,”

Andy rolled her eyes, “Of course I know that, just making sure you did.”

“So, what do you guys do in your spare time?” I perked up, I’ve always wondered what pop stars did in their free time.

“Um, you know, normal people stuff,” said Niall. “Just hanging out like this, or going shopping, or playing football. You know, normal guy stuff.”

“That is very detailed.”

“I try to be,” he half smiled. His left side stretching into a smile.

I stifled a yawn. It was getting late, it was 12:30 a.m. Man, I have to wake up in like six hours. Great.

“I think its time we leave, we both have work in the morning, and missy moo over here hates getting up for work. She needs as much sleep as she can get.” Said Andy, I guess she took the initiative to break the news.

“Aw,” said Harry. He got up, like the rest of the group did to say goodbye.

“You guys might wanna go through the back, and then hang a left and you guys should be okay from there,” said Harry.

“Can you be my GPS?” asked Andy, in all seriousness. Harry just chuckled, but Andy looked serious.

I turned myself to Niall.

“So,”

“So, will I see you again?” he asked, something flashed in his eyes, to quick for me to see it.

“I think you will,” I smiled, hoping it would be somewhat mysterious. Harry and Andy were in front of us talking while Niall and I were walking down, in silence; but the good type.

My car was there, waiting for Andy and I to hop in and drive home. I turned to Niall to say my final bye for today. Instead, he caught me off guard and kissed me gently on my cheek. He looked at me for my reaction, so I just hugged him. Was I awkward, or was I awkward?

“Bye Niall. See you soon,” I walked the metre with Andy to the car. I got in and told Andy to roll down her window. Liam, Zayn, Louis and Eleanor were all standing at the back waving to us, Harry had moved next to Niall- both of them waving.

“Bye guys!” We both shouted out and left the house. There were girls scattered everywhere in clumps.

We tried to be as unsuspicious as ever, but that failed. We had girls screaming, chasing after our car. Driving out was like playing dodge ball. Dodge all the girls and you got five points, dodge the ones that screamed and threw themselves at the car- ten bonus points.

We had managed to lose all the girls, by passing Courtney’s house and then driving down all these little streets.

We got home at around quarter past 1. That’s one less hour of sleep. Fantastic.

I parked the car, trudged up the many steps to our front door, fumbled for the keys and then dropped onto my bed, not even changing out of my dress. I kicked off my shoes and crawled under the covers. I slept like a baby, until my stupid alarm woke me up, five hours later.

I hate the world.
