Swarms of students are suddenly filling the halls as chimes of bells run through the school. Luckily, first lesson back is double drama, which I've got with PJ, so that shouldn't be too hard. In fact it should be fun, I've always loved drama since I was younger, making people laugh has always been what I enjoy doing, but it's my confidence issues that hold me back. Which is why I usually help write scripts for the teachers. Infact, I don't think I've been on stage since the incident in year 7. I really hope that girl managed the get the sick out of her clothes. God I remember the embarrassment of that night. 200+ parents in a crowded theatre, some probably recording the event, had witnessed me humiliate myself and that poor girl on stage while reciting our words for a pretty crappy version of Macbeth. I can still hear the laughter's and squeals to this day, and the smell, it was worse than the time I fell face first into dog shit.
"Hey Dan," pj shakes my shoulders to release me from my trance of thoughts (mostly about that poor girl who I threw up on), "you ok?"
"Yeah. I'm fine just tired"
"Don't know how, you had an extra 1 hour of sleep this morning". Pj let out a giggle. "So room P14, that's us". He points to the door, standing on its last hinges.
"Yup I guess so"
------------------------------------
Pj and I walk into the vast hall to see our supposed new teacher sat playing on the piano in the centre of the stage. He looked no older than 30 and had a brown quiff of hair resting upon his head. Other than me and PJ, no one else was in the room, apart from, of course, the new-looking man in the middle of the room. Were we in the right room?
"Umm," pj shouted across the room "are you Mr.Joseph?". The man turned his head around, taking his hands off the keys, and stopped playing the surprisingly good tune (I say surprisingly as no teachers at my school take their jobs seriously, and are terrible at what they do. No offence teachers).
"Why yes, yes I am. You to are early aren't you, the bell have only just gone"
"Well, we didn't want to be late to our first lesson," PJ placed his hand on my shoulder "and some people are prone to being late so they need help getting here on time"
"Hey" I playfully punch pj on the shoulder.

"So that pretty much wraps up the lesson today folks" Mr.Joseph said in harmony with the on going bells in the background. But just as we were about to exit the room he shouts, "oh wait homework. For the next 2 weeks, you all have to create your own production fit with dance, music and so on, so on. It'll require you to work in groups 3-4. And to save any hassle, I'll choose the groups and put them on the school website. It might be a chance for you guys to make friends. And, it'll give me a chance to get to know everyone's acting style and artistic form."
Everone let out a groan of displeasure. First week back and we've already got homework.
"Ok now you guys are free to go. Have a wonderful day".--//----//----//--------//----//------//---
Sorry for this being a short chapter. And yes, yes I did add Tyler in this.
