I closed my eyes trying to forget about her.Of the pain and hurt she felt.The pain i inflicted on her.She looked so fragile yet i broke her.She didn't deserve that.Not the hurtful rubbish i said or the lie about her not deserving a mate.Most of all she didn't deserve me.

I wasn't a reliable man.I couldn't protect my pup,my luna.I don't deserve another chance to have happiness.I live for my pack not for someone.She is so pure that it breaks me.She makes me so vulnerable that it terrifies me.Th bond between us...it joins us in a way that shakes me.

She deserved the love of her mate.Someone pure and simple and loving.Not someone like me.Cold,complicated and merciless.No.He was going to be away from her.She had a mate out there waiting....he couldn't be attached to her....it'll be difficult to see her with another male if he bonded with her....He was going to reject the bond between them....The Sacred Bond That He Never Knew Or Heard About....The Bond That Was Between Them Wasn't Normal....It Was Something Impossible....

A mateless wolf can seek support in another she wolf after a period if time..But a connection can never be between them as they first met...it took time for the inner wolf to accept another she wolf...It was better that i avoided her.So as to not hurt her....myself...her mate

Though the fact that she belonged to another enraged me i couldn't be selfish enough to keep her away from her own true happiness...her own mate...She wasn't truly mine...Though we had a bond she belonged to another male.Out there her true mate awaited her....

She changed.I know it's due to my rejection.It hurt her...badly but she would find her mate soon...and she'll be happy...i can't accept her....nor the bond....Her appearance changed..her behaviour changed...her entire demeanour is different.But i can't be selfish and rob her of the chance to acquire greater happiness....greater life....A Better Man....She saw me but barely acknowledged me.

I heard a knock.I quickly opened my eyes and realised it was Lance.I let him in.His eyes held disappointment.

"Man!Why the hell did you deny the bond between you?"

"Dude you really think I'm blind...we're blind...everyone can see it...feel the tension whenever you two are in the same room..."

I couldn't say anything i never realised that

"Look man i respect and love you but....but....she's like a sister..it took Katty quiet a long speech to encourage her to talk to you...to accept the connection between you both...to move on from the past...to mend her heart by letting you in"

I said warningly.He sighned.

i was speechless.She had a mate.Then why is she not marked or worse why is she alone.

This fucking sew my mouth shut.I was frozen.All the words i told her....all the hurt..pain...lies...everything played in my mind.I accused her of being a worthless mate..a reject...not knowing the phase she went through......

I lost my luna my mate.I went through that pain...i know what it means yet i hurt her.
