**The Talk**

We came out drenched completely.I was panting.I removed my hair band and let my drenched hair loose.I felt someone' gaze on me.He was watching me.His eyes flickering from blue to black.Lust.Abruptly he pulled me against him.I gasped.His head moved to mine.But then he pushed me away.

"Sorry"

He moved away and turned to walk.

"Wait!"

He stopped but didn't turn.I continued.

"Do you...i mean this between us...do you feel it?"

I asked even if it was a useless question.I wasn't going to say anything until Katty's image flashed in my mind.

Flashback

"You feel something for him,don't you?"

Katty asked me while i was in the kitchen.

"I..no...Leo was my mate Katty i can't betray him"

"Is that it?"

"Huh.."

"Look i knwo we're not best friends but i know you're a nice girl!"

"Katty i .."

"No!Listen to me"

I stayed silent.

"Do you think you'll betray Leo by moving on!"

I nodded.

"Nora..i know you loved him..he was your mate but do you think he'll be happy if you spent your life alone...without any happiness!Do you think he'll be at peace?No of course not...by not moving on you'll not only cause yourself pain..but you'll hurt Leo's soul."

I couldn't say anything.The memories of him,us and our moments everything came back to me.

"Leo was never meant to be with you that's why you never could be with him!Why do you think you feel bonded to Ricardo?Why did you feel bonded with the kids?Why do you worry about the well being of the pack?"

At this i was dumbstruck.I had no words.Everything was pushing me to him.

Saying this she left.I stood in the kitchen thinking.I left the territory and went to vist his grave.I realised it was time to move on.To live.To be someone's!

Flashback over

"Do you?"

I asked when he was quiet.

"Yes!"

He said after a while.

"That's why we should stay away!My mate my luna is dead...no one can replace her...i couldn't protect them....but the only thing i can do is live my life alone!It'll be better if you stay away!"

"But it wasn't.."

"No!I don't need a whore like you!you have a mate somewhere but you're here trying to seduce me...you're no different from others you just want power...You're nothing but a pathetic slut who can't be faithful to her mate!Change before you meet your mate and you get rejected and stay away from me!"

I was speechless.He not only felt guilty for not being able to save them bit he thought so low of me.What even shattered me was the fact that he said i wasn't a faithful mate...i was a bad mate.

He walked away leaving me broken.Leaving me to pick up the shattered pieces of my life.
