Prologue: The Sneak Peek

IT'S OUR WEDDING DAY. For me, it's a hell day. Until now, I can't believe that I agreed with this bullshit wedding. Wala akong magagawa. Of course, it's all about the business. It's done to preserve the legacy of both worlds. Damn this wedding.

I was happy but not today. I believe today is the start of my fucked up marriage and life.

Tuwing ikinakasal daw, kabado ang groom and bride. I'm far from being excited-too far from being one.

I scanned the church. The wedding is wonderful. Halatang pinaghandaang mabuti ang kasal namin. Bawat detalye ay planado. It was perfect, only the reason for our marriage made it worse.

The wedding march started. I am already standing near the altar, waiting for her. I can't even say her name.

When I turned my gaze towards the door, I saw her. Yes, she is beautiful. She is glowing. She seems happy, too. Well, good for her. Mabuti pa siya ay masaya.

She is now the center of attention. Naglalakad na siya sa may aisle. She smiled when she approached me. I didn't smile back. But I kept my mouth shut. I went with the flow.

"Take good care of her, Angelo Drew," her father told me as he handed her to me.

Hindi ako sumagot at tumango lang ako.

Welcome to hell, Jewel. You will regret that you manipulated me.

My name is Angelo Drew Filan. And this is our story.
