Y/N POV

As me and Starscream go through the bridge, we see the energon mine not too far away and a few Veicons working away collecting and stocking up the bleu cubes in shipment tanks ready to be transferred to the ship. As we approach the mine a veicon comes up to us and says"commander starscream and commander y/n glad to see you could make it, I'm aware that your jobs are to supervise and assist am I correct?"I look to the veicon and say professionally  " yes we are and thank you , what may I ask is your designation?" But then starscream cuts in rudely " Don't bother yourself with the Veicons y/n, they are only made to work not socialize like real cybertronians."the veicon then looks down in sadness at the mechs comment and I just glare at starscream " commander does he not have a spark like yourself is he not a living being?"I ask innocently. "Um yes what do-?"I cut him off saying "Then he is as good of a cybertronian then you are , who are you to judge another living beings worth, he thinks speaks walks and feels just like you and others he is a cybertronian no less no less then you" I say sharply just as Starscream closes his mouth tightly to the point I can hear his denta grinding together. The veicon stares in complete shock.i then ask again " I'm so sorry for that now, what is your designation?" He looks at me happily "yes thank you commander y/n , and I'm s13v3 otherwise known as Steve" " well hello Steve it is nice to meet you I hope to see you around " I say then start to walk away. I then stop in my tracks look over my shoulder plate and ask " Are you not coming commander?" I see him come out of his trance and I can see a slight blue tint to his cheeks( is he BLUSHING!?! He is omg ) I then look in Front of me as I realize that he's following behind me we then continue to walk in silence.
We make it into the cave and we see all the energon that has been collected and its impressive. Starscream then looks to me and says " I'll log who is present and you can document how muck energon has been collected, keep an eye out for autobots they like to pop out of the bleu" he says seriously I nod and he rolls his optics then walks away . " shesh is he always a grouchy grinch on missions?" I mumble to myself I then grab a data pad from my subspace and start to log my report. I didn't take long only  3 joors or so I went to find starscream to see if he was done his work . I then see him on his data pad then turns it off. He looks around until he sees me approach him " finished so soon?" He asks " yes It didn't take that long to record how about you done?" " yes I'm finished what do you say we break for lunch he says tiredly.i nods and we announce to the workers that they could break to refuel, we herd a series of sounds of relief. I then went and grabbed me and starscream a cube and brought it to him. " thank you " he says "your welcome " I say happily . "Y/n why are you so kind S-so happy all the time ?" He asks irritated he sneers at the end of his sentence witch makes me frown " well instead of looking at the negatives of every situation I'll try to look on the bright side the positives and make the best of it, and I'm not happy all the time ." I say truthfully I turned to face him he looks at me in an expression that's a mix between confused and understanding I know that these are opposites but that's what I saw. He then asks " why do you care for me ? Why out of every decepticon I have ever met are you nice and caring towards me?" He asks utterly confused I then lightly blush but hid it well then answer his question " I honestly don't know but I think that everyone should be treated with respect even the worst of people , I mean I'm a very mean femme so I don't know why I'm being so nice maybe because I'm finally with the only family I have left Megatron." I say softly " how could anyone want to be related to Megatron he is so cruel and mean" starscream sneers "he is the nicest mech to me unlike every other cybertronian who has lied , cheated , beaten , and back stabbed me he is loyal ,smart and strong." I say with confidently. " Then why is it that if someone fails a mission on the ship the get either beaten or killed ?hmm why is it that mechs on the ship are afraid to do anything around him? Why is it that I have long stopped giving him the title friend. There is a reason why I am so cold , and mean I have lost hope " he says sadly he them looks deep into my optics he has a broken look in them . I then tell him one of my deepest secrets "There is a reason why Megatron tells me to go into a separate room when he speaks or get angry at someone. It's because one time on cybertron after a rough day fighting in the pits of kaon he was furious at on of the gaurds for letting in fans at one of his matches they argued for a long time it was a very heated argument.I waited on the sidelines then Megatron suddenly turned around angrily and told me we had to go so I listened after that we came home he immediately grabbed a cube of energon and sat at the table . I asked him what I could do to make him feel better or help him relax he then mumbled something I couldn't hear so asked him to repeat himself, but he was so blinded by his anger he reached up and punched me across the room. He then yelled 'LEAVE ME THE FRAG ALONE YOU USELESS , DUMB FEMME!!!' I just started crying and stared at him my left optic was broken leaking energon he then hit and liked me several times more before he realized what he was doing but it was to late I had already gotten up and ran to the door and escaped. I eventually came back to see him sitting at the table with tears running down his face and his head in his arms. He turned to see me and he jumped to give me a hug and he said how sorry he was how he was never going to do that again that I wouldn't leave him that I was his little sister. After that I got fixed up a broken optic , arm and a sprained pede. After I forgave him but I will NEVER forget it" I say with a few tears pricking at the corners of my optics . I then look to starscream and say " so I do understand your pain and so much more , you need to open up a little more ". He then aberrantly got up and said" that was a touching tale but I don't need to open up to anyone I'm perfectly fine looking after myself, " he paused " but I do appreciate you telling me your story y/n"he then smiles at me but just as things were finally going smoothly the autobots HAD to show up. We hear gun fire and shouts me and starscream run up to the battle and start fighting I then com megaton to tell him we need back up but then bumble bee comes and attacks me. I had blocked and had my blaster to his head when everyone stops and stares at me " one more blast and the scout dies prime , put down your weapons NOW!!" I order and watch as they comply oh how this would work nicely in my favour."what do you want y/n can we make a deal?" He asks " okay prime let's make a deal".
