Genet - Cabin

"Holy shit! O-Oh shit!" My eyes dart blurrily around the room, eventually landing on a hunting rifle. I sprint over to it and snatch it off the wall. After that, I run and grab a lantern, quickly lighting it and bursting out the door. "EVELYN! Oh my God!"

23:59

"EVELYN! Evelyn!" Sprinting over to the nearby river, I begin hopping onto some drums. I manage to land on the other side of the river without having slipped once on the ice-coated objects. I pick up the pace and halt to a stop at a ledge. I swiftly use the rifle's scope to try to find Evelyn. Within a few seconds, I spot my best friend trying to crawl away from something. She's then dragged away by it while screaming. "Fuck! EVELYN! NO!"

Evelyn lets out a glass-shattering scream. "GENET! HELP ME! HELP ME!" she howls.

I immediately jump down the cliff, sliding against the rocks while muttering curse words. I grab onto a branch, accidentally letting go of the rifle and the lantern. I promptly let go and grab the rifle and now glassless lantern, sprinting off again. Swiftly, I duck under a log, then jump over a different one, and repeat the process again. Once again, I reach a ledge. This time, there are stacks of rocks in the middle, so I begin jumping to each, managing to reach the other side.

I start sprinting again and come to a pathway. However, that would probably take way too long, so I slide down the steep slope. "DAMMIT!" I mindlessly shout. I grab onto a branch to slow my fall, let go, the grab onto the ledge to slow myself even more. I'm not in too much pain as I drop down from the ledge breathlessly, only to hear Evelyn's hysterical yells.

I begin to understand her words as I run closer to the building. "HELP ME!' she screams.

"I'm coming, Evelyn!"

"GENET, HELP ME, PLEASE!"

"EVELYN, HOLD ON!" I sprint unsteadily down the stairs from inside the building.

I hear her scream and howl again. "AHH! GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME! NO! GENET! HELP ME!"

"EVELYN, I'M COMING!" She just keeps screaming. "EVELYN!"

"HELP ME! Oh my God..." she says shakily.

The trail leads to an elevator with Evelyn's body on it. I collapse next to her, covering my mouth as tears threaten to fall. "NO! EVELYN! NO! A-Are you okay!? PLEASE tell me you're okay!"

She lifts her head slightly, causing me to freeze. "...Help..." she comments meekly.

I reach to pick her up, but the elevator plummets to the ground. "EVELYN!" I take a deep breath and begin scoping out things in the distance with my rifle, only to see a human figure. I gather my supplies and begin rushing upstairs.

I leap towards a ledge and manage to grab onto it, pushing myself up onto it. I run into the side of the elevator and begin to climb it. Luckily, I make it to the top without a scratch, only having almost fell once.

I then spot the man again. I lift up the gun and look through the scope, pulling the trigger. Nothing. "Dammit!" I toss the rifle on the ground and sprint to the gate. The man jumps into a hole so I begin running faster since the metal gate in between us is closing. Luckily, I slip through it just in time, Indiana Jones style.

Gradually, I stand up and look around the snowy mountain. In the distance, I spot the guy walking to what appears to be an abandoned, stone building.

"Oww... what happened...?" I hesitantly stand up. "What the hell happened?" I begin wandering around as feel a pain in my face. I move my hand to my cheek, immediately remembering what happened. Cedar screamed so I ran into the kitchen to help him, only to be knocked out by some guy in a skeleton-like mask.
