Jughead was tired and you were both laying in bed, he looked up to the ceiling and closed his eyes as you cuddled into his side.
You have been best friends since you can remember, so it wasn't unusual to be laying half naked with each other on a warm autumn afternoon.
"Have you ever just liked someone even though it seems wrong?" You softly spoke which caused him to open his eyes.
"Yeah I guess." He mumbled,
"Should I tell him?" You drew circles on his chest, walking your fingers up to his face.
Jughead didn't say a word, he looked sad.
"What is it?" You asked.
"It's Archie isn't it?" He frowned, not looking at you.
"What-" you were cut off by Jughead getting up, jumping off your bed and pacing around your room.
"What is it with you guys and Archie.
Betty, Veronica.. YOU!
You all have the hots for Archie Andrews, king Arthur from the knights of the round table. You know he's not the only knight right? What do you all see in him?" He yelled
"He's sweet, kind and handsome-" you said only to be cut off again by Jugs yelling.
"I can be sweet, kind and handsome .. it's not only Archie you know." He crossed his arms and continued to pace around.
"Jug, are you?"
By the way he was talking, it sounded like he was jealous.
"Jealous... no, just depressed about the whole situation." He said tucking his hair into his beanie.
"Why?" You stopped him pacing and brought him back over to your bed.
"Because Archie is stealing the one thing I hoped for." He looked at you longingly.
"Betty?"

"No."

"Veronica?"

"God no!" He shook his head disgusted and then realised he just gave it away and quickly snapped to you.
"Y/n don't, I don't.. I do.. look at me I'm a mess, I can't even confess to a girl I like, that I like her without it being.. awkward and weird. That's what I am."
He got up again and continued pacing.
"Jug look at me." He ignored you and didn't stop.
You got up and grabbed his face staring into his eyes, bringing his forehead to yours.
"I've been waiting since we were 4 years old for you to come around to me! And you tell me 13 YEARS LATER!"
Jug flinched thinking you were going to hit him.
Instead you kissed those lips you've longed for so long.
"Archie's not stealing anything away from you, you have all that you've hoped for, right here, and it wants you." You smiled and he blushed.
"Jughead jones, are you blushing?" You joked and he pulled you in for another kiss.
