Lestrange Jewel

Chapter 1

  I was lounging in Malfoy manor library enjoying one of the many books that they provide. They being my Aunt Narcissa and Uncle Lucius. Every since my parents Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange were put in Azkaban my dear Aunt and Uncle have taken care of me and educated me in the ways of dark magic. It is my 5th year at Hogwarts and much has changed. Firstly being the Dark Lord has been brought back. Second my mother has been released by force from Azkaban and Third I along with my dear cousin Draco have been chosen.
  "Jade the dark lord wishes for your presence in the dining hall" my uncle says as he takes my book out of my hands. It was an annoying thing he did especially when I was reading such an entertaining story on the 3 unforgivable curses. I loved how stupid and innocent  muggles were they were so blind to the world around them. As I walked I straightened my long black dress it had a tight corset and ¾ sleeves and the fabric was a work of art with tiny designs of green running throughout the fabric. As my heels clicked down the marble floors of Malfoy manor i bumped into my cousin Draco. "Oh hi Jade do you know why we are being summoned?" He asked in a shaky voice. I shook my head no and continued walking with Draco following in my wake. When we reached the great hall doors I was about to raise my hand to knock when the door was opened by the scumbag wormtail he needed to work on his personal hygiene. "Ah young mistress Jade the Dark Lord awaits you" pausing to glare at Draco " you Master Draco must wait you are not yet required" he then slammed the door in Draco's face as I stepped in. When I stepped in I was shocked to see a boy probably a year or two older than me he had dark hair and hazel eyes he quite resembled the Dark Lord in his youth.  "Ah Jade you have come. I would like you to meet my son Theodore" the Dark Lord said as he rose from the chair at the end of the table. I curtsied and nodded as I was about to rise a hand was extended to me to help me rise. "They did not lie. You are the jewel of the Malfoy and Lestrange family" his voice was one that demanded respect. "Thank you" I paused not sure how to address him. "Teddy" he inserts for me smiling at my uncertainty. " Thank you Teddy" I finish my once incomplete sentence. The Dark Lord clears his throat " Jade as a promise I made to your mother and father should they perish you would be taken care of like my own daughter. Then we came to the arrangement if we had kin and one was a boy and the other a girl they would be wed, if not then would be bound by magic." He gestured to Teddy and me "I am quite happy everything worked out perfectly. I will give you two a few months to get to know one another." With that he gestured for us to sit at the table. He called to wormtail "Send Draco in" wormtail nodded and opened the door for Draco he strode in straightening his suit jacket and bowing "my Lord you summoned me". "Rise Draco rise I have called you to inform you that my son shall be attending Hogwarts with you and your cousin until the wedding." Draco looks at the Dark Lord confused "my Lord with all due respect, what wedding?". "Ah, yes Draco I forgot your cousin is betrothed to my son they will wed the day after her 16th birthday. Which will be over the summer in a few months time." Draco nodded. Teddy then stood up "I'm Theodore but you may call me Teddy" he said extending his hand to Draco who shook it and placed a thin smile on his face. "Now that this is all arranged you all may depart I have other matters to attend to." We walked out Teddy leading and me and Draco following  side by side. He leans over and whispers into my ear "did you know" I shook my head "are you ok with this?" I shrug "if my parents and the Dark Lord wish it. It shall be." He pauses and grabs my shoulders to look at him "Jade this isn't killing muggles or mudbloods this is a life decision this is forever!" I look into Draco's blue eyes they are full of worry and fear not for himself but me. I give him a small smile "do not worry Draco I will be fine" I give him a small smile. Teddy noticed we stopped walking and now was facing us scanning both of our faces "come Jade your mother asked to see you and me after speaking to my father" he said. I nodded and gave Draco a comforting squeeze and walked of following Teddy who offered me his arm.
