Chapter 9

Once I returned to the Slytherin common room I sat down on one of the luxurious couches and wait for Draco to come. When the door opened I turned but was disappointed for it was only some first and second years. I pulled out my wand from my robes and called a book. "Dark wizards in all their Glory" was the title a fascinating book about the dark arts and the wizards who used them. I was so enraptured by the book I didn't notice Draco and Teddy come in till Draco sat down next to me and Teddy across from us. I closed my book and turned to face Draco "so."
  Draco took in a shaky breath. "I guess I must explain now." I nodded. He sighs and begins. "Me and Hermione were just arguing and then she slapped me. But it wasn't like when you're fighting it was more like playful. Then we became friends and well now I like her and we became more than friends. I really like her Jade but then I ran into a problem, she was, she was a muddblood and I hated her for that. But she isn't Jade I looked into it. She is adopted her mother father and mother were purebloods dark lord followers! It's amazing." He finished. I looked at him raising my eyebrow "ok well that is splendid but, she must choose you and the Darklord or her friends aand muggles." Draco swallowed and nodded his head. "Also Draco if she chooses us she will come with you during winter break." He nods agin and with that I get up and walk to my room.
  What a game changer. Hermione is a pureblood who knew. I sit down at my desk to finally respond to my mothers many owls. 
Dear Mother,
I am well and so is Draco and dear Teddy. We will be coming home for holiday. We will also have a new guest with us. Hermione Jane Granger but that isn't really her last name. Draco looked into it and she is a pureblood.

I finished my letter and handed it to my owl to deliver to Lestrange manor. As I watched my owl Non fly off I thought to myself. The world is changing for everyone.
