Nikki just sat in shock, her eyes finally meeting Neil's. Was he joking? Or was he being serious? She couldn't tell from the tone of voice he used.
Neil was rubbing the back of his neck as he dropped the gadget onto the cabin bed.
"Neil," Nikki started as her slightly pink eyes looked at Neil's blue ones.
"Yes, Nikki, I meant it." Neil cut Nikki off before she even finished the rest of her sentence. "Seriously?" She was in shock. Neil was being serious? Jeez, what is this? Some sort of fantasy? Because if so, she was loving it!
Neil being clearly nervous gave Nikki just a small little peck on the lips before he went back to looking at the gadgets and all that science stuff he was into; Nikki was in complete utter shock, as her finger reached to rub her lower lip. 'This was some sort of fantasy, this can't be real life,' the bubbly girl thought as she stared at her um.. Friend? Guy friend? Ugh, whatever.. Play with his gadgets. This has to be a fantasy...
