{ so i skipped to the day where Max is telling Neil. }

'Alright,' Max thought as he took in a deep breath and let it out past his lip. 'You can do this.' He kept telling himself in his mind as he started to walk over to the table where he sat with Neil and Nikki.
'Fuck, am I really doing this?' He huffed as he finally got the courage to ask to see Neil in private as Nikki was already getting suspicious.
Neil didn't think much of this and decided to go along with Max, following him inside the small bathroom.
"So.. What's up?" Neil questioned as he looked at the red faced Max.
Max gulped and built up the courage to say all his 'pretty dumb' emotions about the other male.
"Listen, Neil- I hate being sappy n' shit but.. I love you." The curly haired boy started as he looked at Neil, his face was a darker shade this time.
"And honestly, I admire all your work and your love for science."
Neil fell silent as Max's cold hands went inside the pockets of his jacket to feel warmth.
"I-.. Max, not to be sappy or anything but yeah, I love you too." Neil meant what he said as the corners of his lips curved into a small smile, his eyes meeting Max's.
"Pft, damn.. This is getting like those romantic parts in movies." He said as he pecked the others lips hesitantly.. It was like his version of a kiss except without all the effort.
