— — —After that short little kiss David and Max shared, the two fell asleep on the same bed that was in the cabin, the room was dark, the only visible light was the small night light David owned, so It wouldn't be so dark for the two males. David's arms wrapped along Max's body, and Max, he just slept soundly, enjoying the warmth from David and the scent that filled the room as the two slept peacefully throughout the night.
David was obviously the first one to wake up, his mind processed it as, "Today's camp!" and that was his alarm. He went to stand up but he then had something pop in his mind, like- A reminder?
David then knew what the reminder was.
It was Max, that poor boy was still asleep and his arms were still wrapped around his waist.David let out a confused sigh, unsure about what to do about this situation, should he wake the boy up, or, slowly.. Very slowly, remove his arms from him and walk away? Well, for David, the second option seemed cruel. Just walk away, leave him be? Who knows, he might be lonely.
But waking him up was almost just as worse, he would wake up, and he'd be.. Cranky. What could he possibly do, given these two options? Both sounded cruel in this childish boys mind.
David thought it through and he went with the first option, despite how cranky the boy will get.
"Max," David softly cooed, as he removed his arms from the boy's waist, placing them on his shoulder.
Max, who was still sleeping, gave a small, "Mm.." and a grunt as he managed to move away.
David pursed his lips as he bit down softly, moving his arms off of him with a flinch. "Gosh, this isn't going to go well," He thouht in his mind, his eyes staring at Max with a slight look of, "How the fuck do I wake him up," If you catch my drift.
— A bright idea popped in David's head, It wasn't.. All thay great, but it was something that HAD to work, if not, well; start planning Max's funeral.
Max, who was still fast asleep turned around so his back faced David; It slowly started to curl and so did the rest of his body— He snored softly, a few groans here and there but most were just quiet but slightly loud snores.
Now, time to put David's good idea to work.
David grabbed Max's curled up back and made it so his face was well, not facing him directly but— yall understand, I'm sure. He heaved a soft but low sigh as he took his chin and pressed his lips against Max', just like he did before. But the only difference was, Max was awake and Max was asleep this time.
Well, this unexpected kiss caused Max to almost instantly wake up with a startled look and wide eyes. His eyes's adjusted to meet David's who were closed, his eyes then stared at David's lips against his own.
— The two boys were both red from embarrassment and from being flustered. Now, with that being said, David pulled away with one big apology. "-Darn, I'm so sorry- I.. It's just-" He panicked, his voice cracking once or twice as his voice raised.
Max looked at him with his eyes looking half-lidded and heavy, face droopy with tiredness. "Shh.." He mumbled with a raspy voice, it was also sort of quiet low. "Its okay.." He said right after a yawn and his eyes adjusting to the light of day from the cabin window.
