Sakura High

Chapter 1: First day

* beep beep beep beep beep beep *  *yawn* My name is Coco, I'm a first year at Sakura Acadamey. Most of my life I've been independent and  have waited for my first day of  high school. I am an honor student with usually A and B grades. I live on my own with my 2 cats Luna, and Bubbles. My apartment is small bit cozy. Today is my first day of high school and I cant wait! Today is everything I've ever dreamed. Today was the day.

I walked out of my room and into my bathroom to wash my face. I started brushing my teeth and brushing my long black hair. The night earlier I straightened my hair just so my natrual big poofy hair didn't make much of a sloppy impression, I put on my contacts then walked back into my room and put on my school uniform. My phone started ringing, I picked it up seeing to was my best friend lizzy. Me and Lizzy had been best friends since middle school along with her slightly older brother Kevin, not to mention our other friend Amanda. We have all used to hang out after school and all the time during summer. I picked up the phone.

" Hey Lizzy, ready for today?" I asked with a happy tone.

"Definetly, I just wanted to check in to make sure you didn't sleep in" she said playfully." Anyways, me kev and Amanda will meet outside your apartment in 20 minutes okay?" She said happily.

"Okay haha, see you then" I said.

I hanged up and walked into the kitchen with my two cats following behind me waiting for their breakfast. I poured their kibble into 2 separate bowls and refilled their water bowl. I then walked over to my fridge, pulled out the milk and set it on the table. I then grabbed a bowl and a box of lucky charms. I poured my cereal and then my milk and ate quietly looking at some memes. I then cleaned up and waited for my friends on my couch playing with my cats. I suddenly got a text from Lizzy saying she was outside. I looked out my window and saw them. I said bye to my cats grabbed my bag and headed out the door and down the elevator. I walked outside and greeted my friends.

"Hey everybody!" I said.

"Took ya long enough" said Kev. He was tallish, he had dark hair which was sort of long with brown eyes

"Hi Coco, goodmorning!" Said Amanda. She was always smiling, she had brown eyes and long brown hair and was also short.

"Hey hey!" Said Lizzy. Lizzy was around the same height as me and Amanda. She had long straight hair and brown eyes.

We all started walking to school talking about what games and movies came out, what clubs they'd want to join etc. Soon enough we reached the front gates and entered the gymnasium where the entrance ceremony was about to begin. We stood next to each other in the 1st year section. Sooner or later the staff shushed all the talking students and the principal began to speak.

"Hello students, welcome back to Sakura Academy. As for you first years welcome to your new high school. We here at Sakura Academy are excited to have you all here. We have many clubs which we will be explaining tomorrow at an assembly, but for today we will be laying down our rules and expectations".

After that the principal explained all of the things we had to know. It didn't interest me much but it sure did hurt my legs standing there for so long. Soon enough it was over and we were all assigned our class rooms which were based on our grades from last year. My homeroom was English A1 along with Amanda, Lizzy and Kev which didn't really surprise me. We were all pretty smart . We were able to sit where ever we liked and I picked a spot near the window. Lizzy was in front of me and Amanda was next to me while Kev was behind me. The teacher walked in and we all quieted down. She introduced her self then asked for each of the students to introduce them selves. Everyone went and then it got to a particular person.

"Hello my name is Ian Oisigawa, I'm here to learn and steal the hearts of all the girls in the school" he said winking at the teacher which had already seemed to have fallen for the young handsome student.

I knew who he was, we went to the same middle school and he was the commonly known heart taker and breaker. He stayed with a girl until he got tired of her then broke up with her. His orange hair and green eyes made any girl fall for him but I wasn't falling for it. He might be handsome....okay very handsome but I'm not one to fall for someone's petty tricks. After everyone finished, the teacher gave us our schedules for the rest of the school year. For me my schedule went like this

Homeroom: English
2nd Period: Math
3rd Period: Chemistry
4th Period: Lunch
5th Period: Science and Social Study's
6th Period: Study hall
7th Periods: PE
8th Period: Literature

After that were club times, sooner or later the teacher said we can use the rest of the periods to meet our new classmates. I ended up talking to my friends while Mr. Ian talked away with all the girls. I overheard them inviting him to karaoke or stuff like that. They don't know what they're getting into. I had a few more classes with Lizzy and Amanda but Homeroom was my only class with Kevin. I invited them all to my place at 7 because I would be making dinner to celebrate out first day of high school.  They all agreed to it so it was settled.

"Hey Coco, you should invite that cute Ian guy, I'd like to have him come" giggled Lizzy.

I rolled my eyes and replied " I wouldn't invite him to dinner in a million of years".

"Hmph, then I will" said Lizzy smirking then getting up from her seat and walking over to the guy.

I immediately stood up from my desk and watched as the brunette asked him to come over to my place. I stood in shock but quickly realized there was no way someone like him would want to come to my place for dinner. I mean he just got asked by some pretty girls to go to karaoke with him why would he say yes to us. Lizzy then pointed at me and he looked over straight at me and stared for a while. I turned away quickly looking at my phone. After a while Lizzy came back with a big smile on her face.

"Guess who's coming to dinner tonight!!~" she said.

I layed my head in my hand and sighed then the bell rang. It was time for 2nd Period.
