Chapter 8: Stay the night

We made our way to the subway station in silence and made it there in around 10 minutes. We then got on the train it was very packed so we had to be in a really tight space. Then the train started moving. I was forced to be so close to Ian but tried not to think about it. That's when I get a very firm grasp on my butt. "What the hell?" I said in a loud whisper. There's no way that was an accident. "What is it?" Ian said looking down at me. His one arm was on the rope and the other in his pocket so it couldn't have been him. "Somebody just grabbed my ass-" I felt another grab on my butt. Ian looked directly at a teen with his friend giggling and laughing. His faced screamed of anger. "Hey what the hell do you think your doing?" He said in a loud voice. Everyone's focus went to him. I did my best to turn around and face the 3 teens. They looked older then us but Ian was much taller making him seem older as well. I was just as angry as he was. "Please tell me why the hell you grabbed my ass!? Do you think it's fucking funny!??" I said loudly. They laughed. "Calm down cutie, it was just for fun. Plus you should feel lucky that a guy a cute as me grabbed an ass nice like that" said the guy smugly. He and his friends started to laugh . "You wanna start something cause I will get off this train and fight you if you don't apologize right fucking now" Ian said as he got closer That's when it hit me. "You know what? You are pretty cute I am lucky." I got close to the guy as I put my arm on the back of his head and did my best seductive face. The train started to slow down. " Thats right. Be a good girl and come with me". The doors opened. That's when I used the hand on his head to force his dumb face into my knee I then kicked him in the groin. A few people cheered and Ian was still in shock." Do that again I DARE you". I grabbed Ian's hand and we walked out the train. As we got out I adjusted my glasses. "Holy shit, that was fucking amazing! Where...how!? Did you learn that??" Ian said in amazement. "Anime fight scenes " I said letting go of his hand and walking out of the subway station he followed me. "I still want to punch that guy, next time I see him I'll beat him to pulp"Ian said angrily. I laughed and we kept walking.

*Super Duper Time Skip to when they are in front of the shop it's 4:47 pm*

We walk into large cozy restaurant and we take a seat.He sits I'm front of me. "I'm paying so get whatever you want okay?" I said. "Okay". He picks up his menu and I take out my phone. "Arn't you gonna look at the menu?" Ian said looking over the menu to me. "No I already know what I want. I've been here plenty of times before". A waitress came and took our order. She then continued to flirt with Ian. What am I chopped liver? She then left, I order a Shoyu Ramen and so did Ian. "Hey Coco" I looked at him and he spoke again. "Please be careful when handling sketchy or asshole guys, what if something went wrong and they were to hurt you or even worse?" I smiled at his concern. "Thanks, I will". We then continued to talk when the waitress came back with Ian's food. "Where's mine?" I said . She looked at me with a glare and walked away. I sighed then noticed a paper under his bowl and took it. I opened the folded note and read it. "What's it say?" He said . I clear my throat and say what's written. "Hey cutie, you should leave that ugly bitch and play with me here's my number. Winky face" I handed the note to him. "I'm sorry..." he said looking down. "Its fine, aren't you gonna eat?" I say. "Yeah but I'll wait until you get your food. It would be rude." I smile. " Thanks". I wait a bit more and out comes the waitress with none other than Mrs. Oisigawa. I smile and the waitress finally places the food on my table. I look at the food happily. "Ah, If it isn't my favorite boy and favorite customer! What are you two doing here together?". "Hello Mrs. Oisigawa" I say. "Hi mom" Ian said along with me. She goes to hug Ian and then me.

"Wait...is this a date!? Oh goodness I'll leave you two alone! My such a wonderful-" I quickly cut her off "No! It's nothing like that! We are just friends." She looked disappointed and frowned. "Oh, well that sucks. I would love to have you dating my son and after that marriage and lots of beautiful baby's and- "

"Mother!" Ian said. He then put some ramen in his mouth. "Oh sorry haha, but it's never too late. Since I've never had a daughter I can't wait until he gets married so I can have a daughter in law. And honestly since a while now I've wanted you and Coco to meet up together. I feel like Coco is my own daughter since she comes here so much and we always talked about do many wonderful amusing things so consider that relationship". She winked. "I'm so happy you two are friends, but I'll leave you two be. Byee~" she walked back into the kitchen and I blushed as me and Ian looked at each other with a confused look on our faces we then laughed. I took a big mouthful of ramen in my mouth and ate happily. (Super weeb word coming up, prepare for cringe) "Kimochi~" I said about to take another mouthful. Ian chuckled, and ate as well. We were then interrupted by a yell coming from the kitchen. " YOU WILL REPAY ME EVERY SINGLE CENT YOU HAVE TAKEN FROM ME, YOU KNOW WHAT FORGET IT. LEAVE AND DO NOT COME BACK!" Everyone in the restaurant was confused. Our waitress ran out the kitchen out the front door. Then Mrs. Oisigawa walked out and apologized to the people in the restaurant. She walked over to us and sat next to me. "That damn girl took money from the cash register. How could she? Now what am I gonna do? I'm short on staff as it is. Her head was on the table and she looked so sad. "I'm sorry Mrs. Oisigawa, but you need a waitress right? If you dont mind I'd love to work here. "She jerked her head up and faced me "Really??" She said. "Um, yeah. Besides I needed a job anyways. I can't live off my dad forever" I replied. "You're hired! You start on weekdays at 4pm and leave at 7" She then stood up and skipped away. She then came back and gave me a uniform and went back to the kitchen. "Okay then.." I said. Me and Ian laughed. Soon we finished and I payed for the meal. As we walked out the restaurant thunder crashed a lightning appeard. It then started to rain hard. We didn't have umbrellas. We looked at each other and started running towards the subway. When we got there we were soaking wet and our of breath. It was so cold. I checked my phone and it seemed like there was gonna be severe weather all night long and even into tomorrow. There's even gonna be a flood. I sighed and we waited for the train. Luckily I was much emptier and were able to sit down I looked down the entire time until I felt something cover me. It was Ian's sweater. It was wet but I thanked him anyways. The entire time we were silent until both our phones rang. I checked the message and it looked like school was cancelled. I was happy but then realized the weather must be pretty bad for school to have been cancelled.

"Hey Coco, I think you should stay the night at my place. It's not safe to go out in this rain and this late at night." He said looking away. "Okay, thanks alot." I didn't feel like protesting. Also I was tired and didn't feel good. We got off the train and stood right before the opening of the station. It was still pouring and the ground was somewhat filled with water. We both looked at each other. I took a deep breath , and we ran.
