CHAPTER 2.
Ella's point of view

"Okay serious question. Pasta or fish for dinner?" My mother stood in front of me, I tried to look behind her at the television but she wouldn't move. She was wearing a nice green dress she got a year ago, her hair was up in a ponytail and she had heels on. She looked nice, too nice to be home for dinner... "Ella pick now please I need to know so I can make it before I leave." She crossed her arms. I paused my show and gave her full attention now.

"Pasta, fish is gross. Where are you going?" I asked her. I looked at the time and it was 5pm. I had to be at the Styles house by 6.30 tonight. This night was going to be very different to my last times staying there. I normally look after the children for five hours. Which is all fun and games. Putting them to sleep is the worst, in my opinion. But tonight, I'm staying over there because Mr Styles and Madison are out for dinner then somewhere else, apparently they made up and are celebrating. I don't really want to think about where they are going or what they will be doing. It makes my stomach churn.

"I'm off to your fathers and I's party at the ware house remember? For our work, the whole hospital is going to be there. Maybe not all we need staff at the hospital still but most of us will be going." She rambles. I nod my head then decided to stand up and follow her into the kitchen. "So, pasta, yes?" She asked me. I pull the sleeves on my black top down over my thumbs and shake my head. "No..?"

"Mum don't worry about my dinner okay. You go get ready; you don't have makeup on yet." I said and she slowly moved away and sighed out. She checks her watch and then smiled lightly.

"Okay fine. It's almost 5.30 now." She complains and I just smile and turn around and looked in our pantry. I don't really feel like pasta or fish if I'm being honest. I kind of feel like some sushi. Maybe I'll just grab some of that before I go to the Styles house. I might go ten minutes early just so I can be there in time in case they are ready to leave and aren't waiting on me. By the time I make my way back to the couch with a bowl of sea salt chips and turn the television off pause I hear dad walk down the hall. I turn my head and watch him dunk his hand into the bowl of chips.

He grabbed a hand full and walked off, I frowned my brows at my now half bowl chips. Fucking hell. I turned around and looked at him, he was wearing a nice navy-blue tux with a blue and green tie. He styled his mess of a hair back and I think he may have combed down his beard.

"Stealing my chips again." I speak. He looked at me mouth full of chips, crumbs making their way to the wooden floor.

"You wouldn't have been able to eat them all anyway." He argues as mum walks over to him. She is all pampered up now and she looks great next to him. She leans in for a kiss from my father and I mumble a 'yuck' and turn back to my show. "We will be home late so- wait, are you staying as the Styles tonight?" My father walked over to me, now standing where mum did before. What is it with this family standing in front of the telly while I'm trying to watch! I simply nod in reply.

After a long hug from each parent and a kiss on each cheek I trod behind them as they open the door and make their way to my father's car. I lean in the door frame and watch them hope into the black BMW. We wave to each other before the head lights turn on and they leave for the party. It's already six by the time I walk back inside and head to my room.

I grabbed an old duffel bag and shoved my pj's and some jeans and a black top for tomorrow. I went into the bathroom and grabbed my tooth brush and hairbrush; I don't need toothpaste. I'm sure I can steal someone's tonight. I also don't bother with makeup because it's only them. I don't need to look as good. Well maybe for Mr Styles...
