Chapter 18.
Ella's point of view

The dinner was over now but the Maliks decided to stick around for wine and desert that Adelaide had made herself. I will say, it was bloody good. I almost wanted seconds of her cake but decided not to look greedy.

They had managed to wonder out the back and sit on the outdoor furniture, dad had lit the fire pit too. I sat quietly and listened in to their conversation and decided to stay clear of talking encase I say something embarrassing.

I looked over to see Zayn and Danny talking to each other quietly, making sure they don't talk over the parents. At the dinner table a lot of questions were asked about each other's families. I found out they moved here because of their father's job; he is a therapist. He was offered a larger paying job and took it. Zayn apparently was happy about it because that meant he can study here where he wanted to.

Danny is starting his last year at the same school as me which will be nice, that way if he needs anything he can always find me. Danny apparently wasn't happy about the move, which makes sense. I would hate moving schools in my last year.

I decided to hope up from my spot and excuse myself to go get a drink refill. I wondered inside and walked over into our kitchen to the fridge, finding the last bit of lemonade. Once I poured it, I placed the bottle in the bin and pulled my phone from my pocket. I had a missed message from Harry.

Harry:
I want to do more than kiss you.

I blushed to myself staring down at my phone screen wondering what to say back. This man.

"Hey." I heard making me jump slightly, not expecting a voice to interrupt my thoughts. I looked up to see Zayn on the other side of the counter now. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." he laughed a little. I smiled and laughed back, I quickly messaged Harry and put my phone back into my pocket.

Ella:
Like what?

"It's okay, I just scare easily." I smiled. He smiled back, and it almost made my heart thump. He had a beautiful smile. I quickly grabbed my drink brushing the idea of his smile aside. "Did you need a drink?" I questioned before leaving the kitchen.

"Sure, what do you have?" He leaned on the bench. I shrugged my shoulders before opening the fridge again.

"Juice, Pepsi and wine." I said looked at him. He frowned and pointed towards the wine. "Good choice." I said grabbing it and handing it to him. He poured the drink himself and walked to the fridge to put it back. He finally walked close enough to me that I would smell his cologne, and let me just say, it smelt yummy.

"So, tell me Elouise, what's your favourite subject?" He took a sip of his red wine; I watched as he swallowed it and lean back into the fridge to focus his attention onto me. I was a little taken back by the question, but I could tell he wanted to talk. The way he displayed his body language and the way his eyes focused on me.

"Well, I like sport because it's less work." I pointed out and he laughed. "I do like science; I know that's weird but I find it interesting." He nodded his head and took a sip of his drink. Harry looks hot when he drinks wine, but he always frowns when he drinks which makes me believe he actually doesn't like wine but does it because it makes him look sophisticated.

"Science wasn't my thing." He shrugged his shoulders. "Definitely the art kid." I nodded and remembered how he is studying art in uni. He flicked his hand through his hair making me feel all the things I shouldn't be. I know it doesn't matter, everyone feels things when a very handsome man is in front of them, it doesn't hurt to look. I won't touch.

Harry is who I like.

"We should go back out." Zayn said looking behind me at the parents. I turned to look at them all laughing away. It's nice to see my parents make new friends. "It looks like they are missing us." He laughed walking passed me. I followed behind slowing down to look at my phone.

Harry:
I want to make you moan my name.

I choked on my drink reading the message causing Zayn to look back at me. He raised a brow and I just smiled at him, looking down again to read the message again. I felt my stomach drop and my heart pound. I wish I had my licence so I could rush over there right now.

I have two weeks, just fourteen more days. I have my hours and I'm a pretty good driver I recon. I will be eighteen and I will be a legal adult. I can leave to go see him and not be questioned on where I am going...Well maybe I will by my parents but I can lie.

I shoved the phone away, ignoring the text just for a little so I could pay attention to the people over without feeling myself getting turned on. As I finally managed my way outside, I heard the mums say something I never expected.

"Ella and Zayn would be so cute together." I looked over at her shocked. I get it though; he is around my age. But I mean Danny is my age too. "She needs to get out more, have fun with others rather than just her girlfriends."

"Mum!" I said and they laughed. "I'm perfectly okay thanks." I'm seeing dads old boss, don't worry about me getting no male attention. I'm getting it.

"Oh, come on we are only joking." She said leaning over to Adelaide and clinked their glasses. I sat down back on my chair and saw Zayn raise his hands in defence to me. He joined in on their laughing, giving me a wink.

I wish I could just disappear...
